Our final day, we have an early evening flight, leaving Disney at around 5 pm. for the airport. Looking to do a late breakfast and then an early dinner. What is your favorite breakfast restaraunt when your not in a hurry?

If I had the time, I'd go over to the Cape May Cafe character breakfast. I love the idea of ending my vacation with the characters :)

We really enjoy O'Hana's and it has become a bittersweet last day tradition. Honestly I would still like to eat there even when my kids are teenagers or adults. (They are 6 an 9 now) And we have eaten there every year since my daughter was an infant.
Very relaxing atmospere with yummy food brought to your table. And plenty of it! Above average, family like service and great character interaction if you have little ones.

Enjoy whatever you decide:thumbsup2

Crystal Palace..... it's such a lovely way to end a beautiful week and get to do all the rides "one last time till next time" ! and say "see ya real soon" to the Magic Kingdom !!

(homesick for Disney now... :sad1: )

Do you plan to visit a park that day? My favorites are Kouzzina and the Grand Floridian Café. I'd recommend Kouzzina if you're planning to visit Epcot or MGM, GFC if you'd like to visit the Magic Kingdom. If you don't plan to visit a park at all, I'd still go with Kouzzina because the Boardwalk is a nice, relaxing place to spend some time.

I second Cape May. We had a late breakfast seating there and didn't feel rushed at all. It was just very relaxing. The place was almost empty, the food was good and the character interaction was great!

We are doing Cape May on our last day, 8 am.

We tend to find the closest TS location to our resort so we can eat, pack, drop off the bags and head to our last park of the trip....it's all about maximizing time on that last precious day.

My girlfriend insists we do Chef Mickey's for breakfast on our last morning. She likes that it gives her a chance to say "see you later" to each of the Fab-5 in one sitting.

Cape May is a close runner up. A lot of that depends on what time ADR? Will you have your own car? Are you willing to take a taxi? How much traveling do you want to do? Getting to BC can be a bit of a pain to get to for those early ADR's. Later breakfast ADR's aren't as bad.

If you are looking for something in a park, Donald's Safari Breakfast at TH is also a nice breakfast to end a trip on. (As you can see, we like character breakfasts to end our trips.) :thumbsup2

Ohana, absolutely. Great food, great character interaction, right outside Magic Kingdom. Love it!

On our last trip in Aug 2010, we had a late breakfast at CP in MK (10:15). It was great. We made it for the rope drop show and we got to ride a few rides (BTTMR, SM, Splash, ) and see characters all before our meal time. After our meal we had time for 1 more ride on Space MT and saw Stitch, and Buzz. Then we left for our resort, so we could make ME back to the airport.

I would definitely do that again. It was a nice way to end our vacation.

We alternate between Kouzzionas (french toast, sweet potato hash!) and Kona- pinapple macademia nut topped pancakes!

Thank you all for your thoughtful input. Characters aren't important with my kids because they are older (not like when your 4 and its an absolute must!) but yet they are still fun. We wll not have a car, we will be using the transporation system. But we can always go to MK, shoot over to Cape May and return to MK. Not such a hassle when you have time. It appears Cape May is the place to go, thanks again!

You could also take the bus to DHS and then take the boat (or walk) over to BC.

We love to do a character breakfast at the end like everyone else, but believe it or not, some of our favorite "last-day" memories are us stopping at the Main St. Bakery for a quicker bite to eat on the last day, and really soak-in the atmosphere of being smack in the middle of Main St.

We are going to 1900 Park Faire on our last day for a late breakfast, then one more spin through MK. DD8 is excited to meet Alice and the Madd Hatter this trip!

I haven't been yet but I'm looking forward to Crystal Palace after reading all the reviews! :)

I can't comment on a "last" breakfast - never thought of it that way, but Kona Cafe is a favorite from our first trip - Tonga Toast - DH even bought the Cook Book from Disney and made it for me at home. Can't wait to have it again. I do agree, though, that characters are fun on the last day!
