Where would you eat?

My husband and i (in our 40's ...no kids)will be going to Universal for one day during our WDW trip.
Where would you eat a light lunch and then dinner?
We will be there Nov 18th and since the park hours will be 9-6 we will be there the whole time. Thought we might eat dinner in City Walk. Any suggestions? We like just about everything but looking for some good food and /or a fun place.

If you're going to IOA, try Mythos or Confscio's for lunch or Lombard's Landing at USF. For dinner, try a Citywalk restaurant since the parks are closing early. Margraritaville, Latin Quarter, and the Hard Rock Cafe are pretty good. If you want a special time and can get a table, try Emeril's.

I'm not sure if you want to hike it to the onsite resorts, but they have good places to eat too.

Yes, a light lunch at Mythos is a great idea. You'll get to see what it looks like. One of you can have a salad, the other can have the wrap, which is really good because it's stuffed with mashed potatoe.

The wrap and salad will be plenty of food, you'll be stuffed.

Get there right a noon, the crowd arrives at about 12:30pm.

When you first walk into the doors, ask if you can have a table in front of the window. Seats are assigned at this time and won't be changed.

MYTHOS It's my favorite restaurant. Great food and atmosphere. If you want a very nice dinner, try Emeril's Tchoup Chop at the Royal Pacific Resort. You can take the water taxi to the RPR from City Walk.

Thanks all... I'm sad to say that we will not be going to IOA. Believe me.. Mythos is where we would eat. I have heard so many good things about it.
We will just be at Universal for the day.
We are open to going over to one of the resorts for dinner but not lunch since we don't want to lose time in the park.
We just don't want to do Hard Rock since we have done that before. Looking for new places. I have not been to Universal in 10 years and my husband has never been so keep those ideas coming. Thanks so much.

We really enjoy Margaritville great food great fun! Mythos is nice i do agree but i enjoy getting out of the parks relaxing at lunch with my honey sitting as long as i like and lingering over my margarita. For supper when the parks close get on the boat and go to PBH to Mama Della's and have a nice romantic dinner wonderful fun and a wonderful experience. Best Dining on property in my opinon. You need ressie's for Mama's i would suggest. Then take the boat back to where ever you need to get to citywalk for the parking area or to your hotel if you are staying on site. THose two are hands down favorites never had a bad meal always excellent food and service at both can't be beat. Not to mention that boat ride at dark to PBH is just romantic and it'll set a nice mood to your supper at Mama's.

Your very welcome we are from s. ga and like great meals that are not extremly fussy and uso/ioa is our ADULT get away without the kids. These are just must do's for us. You may want to stroll to the gelato shoppe next door for dessert if you don't see something you love at mama's after supper you could stroll the grounds then break at the gelato bar for something nice before getting on the boat. It's so nice to see people comeing and going out on the piazza at night with there children and just everyone is having a great time. It's so relaxing and a nice way to wind up your great day. I have never chanced a meal at universal to be quite honest we are not there long enough to mess around getting a BAD meal. We have 4 yo triplets and our trips are weekend get a ways so we like tried and true.

If you are just going to US, we always love having a relaxing lunch at Lombard's Landing in US.
