Looking at an ADR for lunch on our Epcot day, not sure what to pick. Basically we can get an ADR at anywhere BUT:
Le Cellier
Garden Grill
La Hacienda de San Angel
Bistro de Paris

We're six 28 y/o's who will be eating most dinners outside the parks because the park hours close fairly early when we're there (first week in November). This will be our only Epcot meal, so tell me where you'd go! popcorn::

Chefs de France was GOOD!!!

keep trying for the le celier, you never know when it will turn up!

Chefs de France for sure. Ask for a table in the front atrium and watch the street show while you dine.

Le Cellier is okay for lunch although I love it for dinner.

Garden Grill holds no appeal at all for me. I can make that food at home or have it anywhere.

La Hacienda is an unknown at this point. I was never impressed with San Angel Inn.

DO NOT GO TO CHEF'S!! Went 3 times for lunch and EVERY TIME the service was VERY slow...as I found out, not to the waiters fault...very minimal computer stations within the restaurant. I would do Teppan Edo or Biergarten or Marrakesh...those are all really fun!!

Bistro de Paris is excellent but it's only open for dinner. Chefs de France, downstairs from Bistro, is not in the same league as Bistro but it's fine for a lunch. I like it better than Le Cellier.

I agree with PP on San Angel Inn but I don't know if the Hacienda will be any better. Let's hope so.

I would not pick Garden Grill.

I would go to Via Napoli if you like pizza. We're going there for dinner and doing CS for lunch.

A group of twenty-somethings?

I would probably choose biergarten because (A) good beer and (B) Entertainment - stage-show. Also, Marrakesh is very good if you like that type of food. If you want nicer restaurant with best food, then probably Chef De France has been best food, though it is slow, crowded and noisy.

We're fans of Chefs, we eat lunch there every trip. They have an EXCELLENT prix fixe menu - one appetizer, one entree & dessert for around $20 per person. Another poster stated they felt it was too slow, we've never had that as an issue when we went. If that would be a concern for you, you can always tell the server you're in a hurry.

My family's new favorite is Rose & Crown. We had dinner there last trip, and we will be back! The food was good, the atmosphere was fun, and the drinks were cold and plentiful!
Now, we also love Teppan Edo. If you do hibachi style at home a lot, it probably wouldn't be worth it to you , but we love it.

Personally I would say Germany.

For a group of six 28 year olds I think it might be a great time, but I don't know your group.

La Hacienda won't be serving lunch and lunch ADRs won't be available there. To get lunch at a Mexico TS you would need to go inside the Mexico pyramid to San Angel Inn.

I'm voting Biergarten, Marrakesh, and then Chefs de France. I would say the boisterous nature of my group of friends (28-38 range) would be happiest somewhere with good music and drinks.

Les Chefs de France. We had a delicious lunch there last time

For a group of 6. Teppan Edo. You'd all be seated at the same Habachi(sp?) table since they seat 8 to a table.

Plus its fun and the food is awesome! :thumbsup2

I see that I misread your original post. Now I have to say

Biergarten

Definitely a fun place with food that is better than expected.

I would go to Via Napoli if you like pizza. We're going there for dinner and doing CS for lunch.

I agree. We went for lunch a few weeks ago and loved it. The 4 cheese pizza was delicious!

We like to eat the onion soup and quiche for lunch at France. (not sure it is part of the special) We get the banana/coconut/choc. dessert.

If you do Germany I would still do lunch. I don't think there is that much difference and it cost about $10 less. It is very loud in there if you have never been.

Haven't been to dinner at the Germany restaurant since I was 12 but I have great memories of it being a blast. Not at all fancy though. If you are thinking seafood I'd try Coral Reef. I've been the last two times and we have ressies for November. Great food and cool setting. Only drawback....you may wait a bit even with a ressie.
