Where would you eat in Downtown Disney?

We are going to be going to Pleasure Island one night and can't really decide where to eat.
Anyone have any ideas where they would eat?
It's just me and DH and we like just about anything. We don't want to go TOO expensive.

We really like Portobello Yacht Club. They offer a little bit of everything at average prices. It isn't over on the West Side, but wouldn't take long to get to.

Good question! Not the Rainforest Cafe. We did not like it at all.

Bongo's is very good. As is House of Blues.
We ate once not long ago at Planet Hollywood and was pleasantly surprised. We would not hesitate to return there either.

3 years in a row and we ALWAYS go to Rainforest Cafe--love the food and the atmosphere.

Didn't really like Planet Hollywood--House of Blues was good and this year I look forward to going to Fulton's Crab House.

If you just want a sandwich Earl of Sandwich is wonderful and reasonably priced also. We ate there last week before we went into Pleasure Island. Don't forget to visit the comedy club and especially the Adventurers club-awesome-Kongaloosh

We also loved Portobello Yacht Club. We like to split an appetizer, salad & entree. The bruschetta is fantastic!

Portobello, Wolfgang Puck or Earl of Sandwich. are our votes. Portobello would probably be the priciest of the three, but it is not an expensive place. Puck's has great pizza and Earl's has really hearty sandwich choices. Also, Cap'n Jack's makes great drinks and appetizers...can't beat the view!

If you want a nicer sit-down meal, I'd go with one of Uncleromulus' recommendations. Otherwise, I highly recommend Earl of Sandwich. The food there is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable.

We usually eat at one of the 2 Wolfgang Puck Cafe's,and they are great.We've also eaten at Planet Hollywood a couple of times,and always been pleased with our meals there......

Planet Hollywood is my fave. They have they best barbeque ribs I have ever eaten, and I am very picky! The Chicken Crunch appetizer is also very good. Can't tell you anything about the other places, because the only place I ever eat at Downtown Disney is PH!

For a nice lunch, try the Earl of Sandwich. For dinner, I agree about Fulton's and Portobello - both wonderful restaurants!
