Just a quick question for my expert Disney pals? Where would you like to go if you could go anywhere in Disney to celebrate your wedding?

I was THINKING Flying Fish as it looks so classy with the redesign

What say you team?

If it's just the couple - V&A. If you don't want to spend that much - Monsieur Paul

It it's a group - Artist Point or Monsieur Paul

We were thoroughly unimpressed by Flying Fish.

Oh no !!! Were you really!!! That's so upsetting as I've heard nothing but great things do care to elaborate ???

The Yachtsman, hands down.

We held my parents-in-law 40th and 50th wedding anniversary dinners there, and it was spectacular both times. The service, food and experience were impeccable.

I can honestly say that 50th anniversary dinner was the best experience I've ever had anywhere dining out in my life. I worked on Wall Street in the mid-1980s and went to several fine dining establishments during that time frame: LeCirque, Smith & Wollensky, LeBernardin, etc.

Our 50th anniversary dinner at the Yachtsman beat them all. :)

The service was exceptionally slow (the meal took 3 hours) and the food was quite mediocre. We've eaten at every signature on property and it was thoroughly unimpressive. The food was better before the refurb, though the restaurant is beautiful.

Yeah, that was sort of our experience as well. It started out well! We went to AbracadBAR, which is really fun and the renovated restaurant is gorgeous. Our server was training someone else the night we went and they just weren't paying attention to us at all. My DS's steak came out underdone, so it made a long meal even longer to get that fixed. I just start to sour on these signatures when you are dropping hundreds of dollars on a meal and it's just ok. Over the years, we've found some "good bets" - like Artist Point. We've just never been disappointed. Monsieur Paul is the same way. It's quite subdued, the food has always been excellent and they have a highly trained staff, so the service is really great.

Victoria and Alberts!!!

But if you need something leas expensive, Citricos.

I got married at the YC. I had my after wedding dinner at Artist's Point because we were staying at WL.
it was nice, but, now I know more, I might have made a different choice.

Me? I would do le Cellier. Not nearly as fancy as the ones listed above, but I like a good party and I don't want to be quiet about it. :) le Cellier would afford me the nice steak-house feel without it feeling too fancy that people couldn't let loose and have a good time. It's my favorite restaurant at Disney, not because it's the fanciest, but because it's most like "me". I LOVE the food, it's delicious, and I've eaten at quite a few good restaurants in my lifetime.

I grew up in Houston and one of the nice/casual/birthday places we always went was called Steak 'N Ale. It was yummy, but with a nice but fun atmosphere. It reminds me a lot of le Cellier. :)

On places NOT to eat to celebrate your wedding, I'd steer clear of Splitsville as a matter of principle (even if it'd make a great story afterwards).

In all seriousness - if it was me, CG and watch the fireworks afterwards.

Another vote for Yachtsman. The best food and service we've had anywhere on property.
