Where would you choose for your b-day?

Looking for opinions. It's my birthday meal, but we still don't want too fancy (because I don't really care, but I don't want burgers either!) Afterwards, we're doing Spectro and Wishes.

It's between Kona and Raglan Road right now. Which would you choose? TIA!

I would say if you're doing Spectro and Wishes after, then go for Kona. Much easier access to the MK. I have not personally eaten there (yet!) but many of my friends said it is a gem of a place.

Never ate at Kona, but I love RR. Especially when the weather is on the cooler side. When is your bday?

Haha... I am practically celebrating in both of those places for my b-day. We are having a Kona lunch and ordered a birthday cake. Later that night, we are going to Raglan Road for drinks and apps and entertainment, to close out my b-day. It is very possible to do both!!! Raglan is serving drinks till 2!

for my 40th (5 months from today!!! yikes!!!) we are doing CRT for dinner, then also doing Wishes! and SpectroMagic, can't imagine any better way to celebrate!

Cool idea futrewdi!! Mine was definitely going to be more grand before I got pregnant (been planning the trip since before we had.) Now I'll be 5 mos along so it's all about the food.. lol.

I had our RR reservation, then I saw a couple posts about Kona and called and there was a reservation for it as well... then I saw posts about how Kona was "in between" a counter and table service and not that great, so that's where I'm at right now! I am leaning more towards RR since we're doing 'Ohana this time for the first time. I figure we can do Kona next trip for the first time.

Well if you NEED to coose between the two, definetly Raglan! This will be my first time at Kona but about my 6th time at Raglan. It is amazing!

It was BIL approved and he hates everything. We have eaten there three times. Steak is always cooked to perfection. The tilapia was good too. The appies are great and the desserts are to die for!

The fancy drinks are yummy too if you are into that!

It is a little noisy - the acoustics are AWFUL but you are not too crowded together so you don't feel like you are WITH your neighboring table. DH and I enjoy Kona alot!

That sounds great. Happy Birthday in advance! I am saving CRT for next year, or the following, when DD is a little older. Right now she loves Nemo and Mickey, not princesses.

I would pick Kona and than take a boat or the monerail over to the MK.
