So we have paper tickets that need to be exchanged for the regular tickets at one of the theme parks.
Will the guest services windows be open before park opening? i.e. if park opens at 8am, will they be open at 7am if we arrive before rope drop? I was hopping to have 2 of us wait in line while the other 2 go get our tickets exchanged...will this be possible?

We always activate ours on our no park arrival night, so I'm not sure about morning hours, but I googled and Disney just had this listed under Guest Relations Hours:
"Hours of operation vary based on location. Each Guest Relations location is open during the normal operating hours for its park or complex."

If the park opens at 8am or 9am, the ticket booths & guest relations outside the park open at 7:30am.
If these are not APs or FL resident tickets, one person can exchange all of them for the group.

They are not AP or FL, thank you! If we have time the night we get in we could try to do it then, but doubt it. was hoping to get into AK at rope drop but it seems like a tight fit

New Will Call and online ordered tickets (paper with bar code or bar code on your electronic device) can be processed right at the Touch-Point entry by the CM at the Touch-Point, takes 15 or 20 seconds per ticket usually. Touch-Point CM's at all park entry have the capability of reading the bar codes with their handheld and issuing plastic ticket media. If they are the "old paper ticket media" they can be exchanged by the Guest Relations CM "just behind" the Touch-Point. If only a "paper voucher", these have to be taken to a GR window for processing.

They are actually complimentary employee e-tickets with a bar code, but say to bring to sales window?? So I guess we do need to go to the window or T&TC for Magic Kingdom. I just got to look at them, so I guess there is no getting scanned in first :(

These can be scanned right any open Touch-Point entry and ticket media will be issued by the Greeter CM.

Go to a Greeter CM at the Touch-Point, he / she will scan the bar code on the e-ticket with their handheld, pull a plastic ticket out of their apron, scan the bar code on the plastic media, hand it to the Guest, Guest touches ticket to Mickey, places finger for biometric scan, light goes green and done.

We actually were able to scan e-tickets (not will call) with the "old mechanical" turnstiles, just that the CM comp tickets had to be done at the Cast Entrances because of the need to print a ticket. Since around Spring of 2016 we've had the capability to scan Will Call and online ordered tickets with bar code on electronic devices right at the Touch-Point entries.

Just last month my wife and I exchanged old park hoppers with 3 days left from 2006 at Epcot Guest Relations. She (the CM) even linked the new hoppers to our magic bands. It only took about 10 minutes, including waiting in a short line.

Thank you so much. It sounds much easier than it used to be and will save a lot of time!
