Where were you on 9/11/01

I live in California & have my alarm set to a talk radio station. I woke to the news that a plane had hit the towers in New York. I immediately called my then girlfriend, now wife, who is in the Army. I had a gut feeling that she'd be deployed shortly.
I was correct & she was mobilized 3 days later.

I'm a psychologist & I went to work at the hospital, trying to consul my pts, while working through my own grief & fear.

I'm still amazed & impressed by how everyone came together to support each other during that time c
