Where were u when....

I was in Spanish class. Our spanish teacher, Senora Hughes just said that the World Trade Center has been hit by a plane. My friend and I just looked at each other and laughed. But when we went to gym class and they wouldn't let us go outside, we new it was for real. Later in Science class, we were going to watch a movie on covelant and ionic bonds and he turned on the tv and we saw the pictures of the WTC but he wouldn't let us watch it. The whole school was told not to tell anyone. One of the only students that knew about it was my friend Stephen. His dad works in the Pentagon, and eventually his dad's actual office (on the 5th floor) collapesed. It was the section that was hit. But thankfully he was on the other side of the building getting he coffee when the plane hit. After school I went home and just watched tv for hours. I didn't even do my homework...but most people didn't.

I didn't find out until about 3 hours after it happened, in my music class. No one had found out yet, and so we were all just working as usual, and then this bloke came in and spoke to our teacher. He was left really bewildered, and he said 'Apparently some planes have crashed into some skyscrapers in America, so they're going to set a TV up in here.'

I remember this bloke in our class was laughing, and saying 'How bad a pilot do you need to be to crash into a 100 storey building?' And I just thought there'd been a computer malfunction in the planes or something. But then they connected up a TV, and we had about half the college watching with us, and it was so awful. It all seemed really surreal, I couldn't believe it had actually happened. My college is right next door to Heathrow, and everytime a plane went rumbling overhead, everyone got really terrified. You could almost feel the whole room tense up as a plane went over.

On the bus going home, only about half the people knew, and people were getting really panicky, and all these wild rumours were flying about. Everyone was on their mobile phone, and people kept shouting 'There's a plane heading for the houses of parliament!' and things.

It was a really awful day, I'll never forget it.

this is a bit ironic but i was in history when i saw the first one crash and the rest. and its ironic because it will be history. we had shortened periods for an assembly before this happened so i would have really heard it later but i didnt. and we stayed the whole day instead.

i was in science when it happend but then my teachers told us to go into a double room!! we sat down and the teachers started to explaine wat had happend!! i didnt really beleive it at first it all happend so quickly. but then i relized it was real and i was in total shock!! i didnt see either one of the planes crash but i saw them collapse!! it was a horrible experiance and it is one that i will never forget!! no matter how old we are we will always remember that day and where we were when it happend!!

I was in Science/Health. My teacher had the radio on, and he said that a hijacked airplane crashed into the World Trade Center. The people on the radio were talkin' about terrorists, and I'm like, "What's going on?"
