I Play on Habbo, Pretty much like vmk but for a more mature audience.

Habbo is a NASTY NASTY game to much cyber and child molesters

I basically quit VMK for Club penguin anyway, so yea, I guess that. But I love VMK, it used to be so magical and fun, and I always thought that the games were too hard and the staff was unfair, but now that its closing, I'm gonna miss my friends,my clothes, my rooms, my inferno I think we should take memorial pics with the ghosts, the yeti, and take screenshots of what they say, and once VMK does close, we make a VMK Memorial thread.

I won't be going anywhere.

I've tried POTCO during beta and didn't like it. Neither did my computer.
I don't like the looks of Toontown. That kind of animation I can't stand.
I have no desire to be a penguin. I also have no desire to play fairies or cars.

VMK was my way of being in the parks without being there.

I guess I'll just have a lot more free time now. Not much point in playing anymore. Although, I will be sending in protests to Disney.

I love toon town, but I hate you cant type. Just stupid speed chat. Besides that, I dont want to pay for it.. I need to save money up for spending on real life things.

Agreed. I really like the fact the VMK is original though, POTC is after the movie, and fairies and cars sounds like the movies. Toontown isn't, but you can't type and talk. Habbo is so overrated, and extremely inappropriate for some. Let's see.. Club Pengiun, i tried that game once, quit 10 minutes later because I couldn't figure out how to play. VMK has become an addiction to me, my parents are always yelling at me for being on the computer for too long, and i don't care. I would rather be yelled at for not playing VMK then to be sitting around bored all day. And this public trampoline that everyone in my neighborhood always moved, the grandparents who owned it just moved in the middle of March! VMK plz plz stay open!!

i pretty much feel the same way but I probably will check out fairies because of my daughter. Really everything else I have no desire. I really loved VMK because it was my escape and it was my way of feeling like I was at the park even though I'm over 1000 miles away. None of these other games can compare to that or give you that feeling.

I totally agree

The VMK Memorial Thread sounds depressing, but at the same time soinds like a great idea. How can we ever forget the NPCs?

I already play pirates and have been paying for it for a few months. As much as I would like to say forget Disney, I am enjoying POTCO a lot. Granted it's not for everyone. I do like my ability to speak like a normal person over there LOL. I hope they don't tighten the reins there more than they already are due to the perceived influx of younger players now that VMK is supposed to be closing.

I have been playing POTC since it went public. I have already made many friends and am a member of a wonder guild. Since I pay for it that's where I will be. I also have a penguin on Club Penguin and am a secret agent on there as well (like a CL_ on VMK). For kids it is fun and has loads of games to play. It is also cheaper than POTC althought I play the free version it is still fun. What makes me really angry is that I have made two characters on VMK for my two granddaughers, who are still to young to play but would be able to soon, and have worked hard to get them some really nice things. Sadly now they will never get the chance, sigh. So unfair VMK shame on whoever made this decision. Walt Disney would not be pleased!!

I totally agree! I've tried all the site and I just can't get into it. Plus for the cost of a small animal I can keep playing webkinz without paying a fortune to play a game by Disney I also will have so much more time on my hands. I can feel it already!
