We just got back from our quick trip to Epcot and MK.
Sunshine Food Fair, pasta - When we got to Epcot, we were starving so we headed straight for the Sunshine Food Fair in the Land. I had chicken parmesan, and DH had the veggie lasagna. THe chicken was really good at first, probably because I was really hungry. But after a while it just started to taste very bland. It was ok. DH like his lasagna. Overall I would say B.
Matsunomo Lounge in Japan - We had dinner at Matsunomo Lounge at 8, riight before Illuminations. We originally wanted to eat at Tempura Kiku but it was full, and the hostess told us there was no wait to sit in the Lounge. YOu could order sushi there as well, so that's what we did. DH ordered seaweed salad and shrimp tempura and miso soup. I had miso soup, a shrimp tempura roll, and beef tataki. It was all pretty good and we enjoyed our dinner. A-.
Margaritas in Mexico - Dh and I got a strawberry margarita from the little stand in Mexico. Too strong!!! I took a few sips, but did not like it at all. DH drank a good quarter of the cup but he did not like it either. We ended up throwing it away. D.
Plaza Restaurant - We had never been to this restaurant, in fact I never even knew it was there. But thanks to some great reviews on this place I told DH about it and that's what we did for lunch. I had tomato bisque soup. It was excellent! I also had the create your own burger, i had American cheese and mushrooms in it. It was delicious. DH had a turkey club, and he enjoyed it as well. Overall A!
Dole Whips - The first time DH and I had these! I had heard about them through the boards, and told DH about them. We had a vanilla pineapple swirl. He loved it! In fact, he misses them right now, hehe. They were delicious! everyone should have one of these when they go. A+!
We really didn't eat a lot at the parks, especially since our trip was so short. And for some reason our appetites weren't that big either, maybe because of the heat. I don't know. But that's it! We had a wonderful time! I only wish I had gotten some creme brulee but I forgot where I could find some besides sitting down in France.
