We had such a good time on our trip and can't wait to go again!

Cast Includes:
DH, myself and our 4 boys, 10, 9, 5 and 2.

2/8-Saturday
*Breakfast-on the road still on our way to WDW.
*Lunch/Supper-Cosmic Rays $35.00
Ordered 1 chicken strips and fries and 4 cheeseburgers and fries. 4 soft drinks, I only drink water and my 2 year old wanted the Capri Sun that I had brought.
The music was ok but my older boys said it was annoying after a while.
Really great meal! More than enough for the 6 of us.

2/9-Sunday
*Breakfast-in our room
*Lunch-Trails End $45.00 with tip
This place was great! The kids loved it and asked to eat here again.
*Supper-McDonalds with indoor playground and arcade on 192. $25.00

2/10-Monday
*Breakfast-in our room
*Lunch-Peco's Bills $35.00
Very similar food to Cosmic Ray's. I loved Disney's fries. Always cooked to perfection.
*Supper-Large 1/2 cheese and 1/2 sausage pizza from Riverside Mill and Philly Cheese Steak and fries for my dh. $23.00
Great pizza! The 4 kids couldn't eat it all and they are big eaters. The cheese steak was excellent also.

2/11-Tuesday
*Breakfast-PS for 9:10 at Cape May for the character breakfast $75.00 with tip.
We were seated within minutes of our arrival. The kids were a little disappointed. lol They really like the little TV and chairs for kids. Again the food was great and a nice selection. My 9 year old said that it was the best food that he had ever had.
The character interaction was good though my 2 year old screamed and hide everytime one came by. lol They got to the point where they would peek around the corner to see where he was before coming by.
*Lunch-Too full to eat, we snacked on granola bars and juice that I had brought.
*Supper-Ham and cheese sandwiches and chips from Publix on 192. $7.00

2/12-Wednesday
*Breakfast-in our room
*Lunch-Hot dogs sitting on Cocoa beach $20.00
*Supper-Ham and cheese sandwiches again. Too much eating fast food. $free from yesterday

2/13-Thursday
*Breakfast-in our room
*Lunch-Ponderosa on 192 $30.00
Very good and great waiter!
*Supper-Pizza Hut $16.00

2/14-Friday
*Breakfast-PS for 10:20 at Chef Mickey's. $75.00 with tip
We liked this better than Cape May. Same food but more lively and more interaction.
*Lunch-Still too full, snacked on oranges that we had bought.
*Supper-McDonalds on the way to Tennessee $20.00

Total Food $550.00

I had bugeted $1000, we came way under with no effort. We ate whatever we wanted including popcorn, cotton candy and ice cream in the Park.

Thanks for your reviews. Wow, that was great! Only 550.00 for food with 4 boys. How did you have time to eat off site so much? We are always parking it hard. Maybe, we should stop and smell the roses. ;)

I am very impressed that you were able to come in so far under budget. An extra $450 toward your next trip???

LOL The extra money went towards extra souvenirs. We went a little crazy on them at the end.

We only went to MK and only for 2 days. The rest of the time we resort hopped, rode the monorail, visited DTD and Ft. Wilderness, went minigolfing and visited Cocoa Beach.

I enjoyed your report. Your meal choices were very practical. (Especially for a large family. ) As a mom of 5 boys, let me tell you what you SHOULD have done with your leftover food money. You should have saved it in an interest bearing account so that when they are teenagers you will still be able to feed them while on vacation.;)

Belle5 (mom to a 16, 14, 12, 10 and 5 year old)

I actually had 5 boys but we lost one. They are the best I tell you!

LOL Thank God that I am so into couponing! I get lots of food very cheaply. My dh was afraid that he was going to have to pick up a second job. lol

Thank you for an excellent review! I think it helps people to see what the costs of some meals are. It sure can help them to budget. Excellent. Great job saving money! I end up spending it on other things.

I am so impressed with you trip report and budget report. You are very organized. You have just inspired me to be more like you. I did not know that Big Lots carries the vcr's in a bag. I, too, am going to make a trip by there. My girls were miserable on the way down in Dec. We were behind someone who had Bob the builder playing and they attempted to watch it.:D Thanks again for all the reports. I enjoyed reading them.

Thanks! What I did have organized it was because of this forum. I would have been so lost going down without the tips and suggestions I learned here. I felt we were able to hit the best of the best and it really made for an enjoyable time. We didn't feel that anything was a disappointment.

Too funny about your kids trying to watch the TV in the car in front of them! We saw a lot of cars going by that had the VCR's.
