Where to watch the World Series on property?

Someone with more knowledge than I have will surely answer, but, as fellow MLB fan, I myself was wondering where to watch the earlier playoff games during my visit. We stayed at AKL Jambo and the bar/lounge there had big screen TVs showing the games. Now, I'm a huge Red Sox fan, and your Indians certainly did a number on us, so I wasn't very happy watching! Anyway, if BLT has a bar (they must, right?) I would start there. Also assuming that somewhere in Disney Springs would be showing it?
Congrats on the ALCS win! I'm glad you guys beat the Bluejays.

Also from #Believeland #RallyTogether :cheer2:

We went this summer, arrived on June 15......I know what was I thinking??? Never occurred to me when booking that we planned a trip for the week of the NBA finals! So we made the best of it. Not wanting to give up park time, nor missing out on potential history.....we settled on watching the game on our phones with the ESPN app in the park. We grabbed some food at Cosmic Ray's, picked an outside table so we could see Wishes and watched the the final 12 minutes of the most important game of the year! Sure, we did miss all the excitement back home, but seeing Cleveland win it's first championship in 52 years at Magic Kingdom was pretty cool too. The amount of CLE shirts I saw on people the next day....it was like I was home. Actually it was probably better we were there. Later in the summer I finally watched the full game on NBA-TV and I think I might have been sick if I watched the first half of the game live. LOL

To top it off, we flew back on the day of the parade, so we couldn't go to that either. But since it was delayed so long, we were home in time to watch it on TV. Hopefully, there will be as big of party here as the summer and I'll be home for this one.

But if you're looking for a more social place to watch....I'm sure most (if not all) of the lounges with TV's will be tuned into the games.

Go Tribe!

regards

BLT only has a bar at the pool.
ESPN at the Boardwalk will be mobbed. Line up 1 - 1 1/2 hours prior to the game.
Splitsville in DS also has several large screen TV's and folks report it is a fun place to watch a game.
Another Red Sox fan here. Very disappointed in the outcome but congratulations to you.

Go Indians!!!!! ⚾
We were at WDW when the Indians were in the playoffs in 2007 and watched one of the games at the espn club. I think it was game 3 of the series and they won! It was fun to watch from espn. But since it was the ALCS (not World Series) it wasn't too crowded there. I'd say for the World Series it will be crowded!!!! Especially if it ends up being Indians vs Cubs!!! LOVE the TRIBE!!!!

We were there for the Stanley Cup final in 2015 (GO Hawks!) and watched the Cup winning game from ESPN. It was crowded but was an awesome atmosphere.

We will be down there 10/25 thru 11/1 and will probably go to ESPN early and get a table. They were fine with us staying all night and we told them that when we checked in. I think we got there about 2 hours prior to puck drop for the SC Final. I would guess that would be fine for the World Series as well.

I hope I am there watching a Cubs vs Indians World Series.

Agreed with ESPN club if you can get in. It's been an enjoyable venue for us in the past. There's definitely got to be some places in Disney Springs that would be showing the game as well. When we were staying at Coronado Springs they had World Series games in the lounge/bar area as well as outside at the little bar by the lake.

Congrats! (from a still teary eyed / Disgruntled Jay's fan!)

I would look into the ESPN club! What a cool experience that sounds like! Cheering on your team from Disney Springs! (go Jays go! - ok I will wake up now!)

Are you staying on DVC points? If so, you can go to The Top of the World lounge. They have TVs and it is a nice place.

yes! I can't believe I didn't think of that! We've owned there for 5 years and have never been up there.

GO TRIBE!!! We are Clevelanders arriving Sat the 22nd staying till Sat 29th so we'll be watching when we can too. We went to game one at home of the division series against Red Sox and it was sooooo exciting I will never forget it. Thanks for the tips on places to view.

I have to think there is an app from MLB that you could watch while in the park... Then you have the best of both worlds and something to do while waiting in line!!

At Bat is the App, though there is a subscription fee for both Audio and Video game feeds.

I will be there on Nov. 2 for Wine & Dine, so IF it does go to game 7 it will be that night. I plan to be at ESPN even if crowded to cheer on the Tribe, but hopefully it will only take 4 games. ;) Go WINdians!

We were at the ESPN Club during the World Series a few years ago. There was a football game on as well (maybe a Monday night) and we were asked if we wanted to watch football in the dining room or baseball in the bar . We chose baseball and were seated in a fairly short time.

Love our WINDIANS!!!

We watched the Indians play the Marlins in 1997 while we were at Wilderness Lodge. We started watching it in the bar and then ended up watching the rest in our room as it seemed to go on forever. Plus there were some not so nice Marlin fans who would not leave us alone.

Have a great time wherever you watch it!!! GO TRIBE!!
