Where to watch fireworks?

We will be in Tampa for a gymnastics meet the week of July 4th. Not sure yet when dd is competing but we were planning to watch fireworks on the 3rd or 4th from the Poly beach. I've heard that they may only be allowing Poly guests to watch from the beach. Any other ideas where we could watch from outside the park? We've watched from the Poly many times and I love that view!
I'd rather not have to pay for 1 day tickets to watch from an insanely crowded park. I love the serenity of the beach and the view of the castle.

If you can't watch from the Poly, you might try TTC boat launch or the GF boat dock. I prefer the GF boat dock to the Poly.

If you'd like to get close to the park, watching from just outside the train station (between bag security and the ticket turnstiles) offers great views. You can't see the castle, but you can see all the fireworks and you can hear the music really well.
