where to visit/eat in Vero Beach FL

we are headed to Vero Beach FL in the am to clear out my MIL house. She has Alzheimers and has been living with us in NJ for almost two years and paying for house in FL whole time. (Time to get rid of it). We are staying at Vero Beach Hotel and Spa but would love some ideas of places to eat or visit maybe to watch the Flyers kick butt in Stanley Cup Finals. Any info would be great!

My parents live about 30 minutes north, in Melbourne Beach. I am not all that familiar with Vero, but the WDW Vero Resort is there...you can dine or have drinks there and check it out. Also, Gloria Estefan opened a resort there, looks fabulous although I have never been...
