Where are the very best places to view wishes and make a very easy return to your hotel via the bus system??

Well, the very best place for that (and SpectroMagic, if it's being run the night you're there) is probably the platform of the train station at the entrance to Disney. But you probably have to stake out a spot four or five hours early - your whole group, not just one person.

I think I am going to watch wishes once from the parks, then book at california grill and watch while we're eating

Who's in your party? I usually stand in the Main Street Square when I want to beat the rush. 'Course, I don't have to worry about kids not seeing the fireworks... Yet.

LOL... My DH stood right smack in the middle of Main Street. We had a PS to see it at the Plaza Landing, but there were so many trees in the way, that the CM taking the names told us to go stand in the middle of Main Street. That's what we did, and saw it PERFECT!

We saw Wishes 5 times over our last trip and staked out a different spot on each of those 5 trips. We think that the hub is too close, but there is a strong need to stay centered so you can see all the effects. So, we think our best spot was literally on Main Street between Casey's and the Ice Cream Shop.

I agree - perfect, perfect view from here. Also, we had good luck with just walking up right at showtime and finding room in the middle of the street - your mileage, of course, may vary.

We found the same thing, too. The first night we watched Illuminations at Epcot, then bussed over to MK from the Beach Club. Made it just in time for Wishes and found that spot at the end of the shops on Main Street. There's no need to get to this spot early, as most people like being up closer to the castle or by the train station.

Hi I have a adr for 8:00pm for California Grill on Saturday Nov 12th.
Wshes is at 10:00 pm . Is this too early to be there for wishes?

If it was me I'd not show up too early for the ADR so you make sure you're not seated before 8:00. If you're seated around 8:00 it's pretty typical to spend a couple hours for dinner. If you finish your food early, just order a drink and relax until around 9:45 and then head out on the observation deck for the show.

Anywhere along Main Street USA is good, and it allows for a fast getaway. In fact during our last trip (11/03) we were on Main Street awaiting the fireworks and I started talking to a couple that turned out to be CM's. They thought the Main Street location was perfect.

The best view by far is from Ohana's at the Poly. Best of all, no crowds, A/C and fresh pineapple for dessert. They dim the lights and play the music during it and the servers stop walking around so you can see it.
