Where to stay?

Help- I need advice and all my friends think I'm crazy, you're the only people I can talk about this with!
We go to DW 2-3 times a year. I've stayed at:
Contemp., GF, WL, AKL, Poly, ASMovie, and Pop Century. It seems I spend a fortune or get rooms for $50 a night at Value. We are going for 10 days in August and then again for 12 days in Jan. Where should I stay in August? I don't want to waste money- the values are tempting because they are soo cheap, but how are the moderates? Any advice?

I have liked the moderates. I haven't ever been to a value, plan on doing those this year and the deluxes I haven't done either. But my favorites (in order)
Coronado Springs
Riverside
Caribbean Beach

but I can't rate french qtr although I would assume it rates up there with Riverside. It was under refurb when I wanted to stay last year.

If having to choose again with moderates I would do coronado all the way!

If you want to save, but want the "deluxe" feeling, I would try CSR. It really is such a beautiful place and the pool is fanatastic. It also has a HUGE hot tub and great bus service. I don't think I could stay at a value for that long

For moderates, we really like POFQ. It has beautiful grounds, has been recently refurbished (we haven't been since the refurbishment but the pictures look nice) and the CMs have always been wonderful. The food court and the pool are nice. It is smalled than POR and has a nice resort feeling to it. Just my 2 cents.

I think you should stay at the POR in August. It has the feel of a deluxe resort (at least the mansions do) and some of the amenities you won't find at other moderates. Horse drawn carriages, a marina where you can REALLY take the watercraft out, not just in a lake but all the way to DD.Hope this helps!
