Southern California Where to stay?

We are a group of 7 (two families) coming to SoCal in November. We are flying in and out of LAX and have 2-3 days in LA before we move to Anaheim/Disneyland.

Our flights land on Saturday afternoon and we need to be in Anaheim by Monday mid-afternoon. While we are in LA, we would like to do the Warner Bros studio tour and the Starline bus tours (red line and yellow line).

Where should we get a hotel that would minimize our travel time and maximize the amount of time we have to do the tours?

I'd stay in Beverly Hills within the area where the yellow and red lines overlap. Then do WB early Monday morning and drive from there to Disneyland.
