My in-laws have informed us that they have points to spend and wanted to see if we wanted to go in the fall. It will be just my DH and I. We have stayed at Saratoga Springs (2x), Tree House Villas, and Bay Lake Towers. I do like how SS is walking distance from Downtown but with all of the construction it was a mess to get anywhere.

We will not be renting a car so might ask to do Bay Lake because it is close to the Monorail. Any suggestions? This might be our last trip just the two of us and no children.

The Fall is very booked up already so you'll probably just have to go with what's available and works for the points and time. Good luck and have fun!

yea with free dinning, food/wine festival fall is no longer off season. find your dates and then see what you can get. don't count on BLT at all. your choices may only be SSR, OKW or AKV - but even those might be hard - depending upon when you are going (actually dates)

I agree with other posts that it may be difficult for a fall booking now. That being said it sounds as though BWV, BCV, or Poly? The first two you can walk to parks and the Poly is as you know on the monorail. With the F&W going on the Epcot resorts more than likely will be fully booked. Good luck and have fun!

We stayed at SSR in June and found that as long as we didn't drive in front of DTD it was easy to get around. We did drove that area of Buena Vista drive early one Sunday morning on the way to DHS, and you couldn't even turn left into the Hess gas station, we got gas at the Boardwalk Hess. As long as you drive the routes the buses take to the parks you'll have no problems.

Good luck getting a room, you might have to stay in a 1BR at this late date.

Since you're staing at SSR just take the boat across to DTD which goes to the landing by Cirque.. Then change boats to go to the other landing and you'll miss all the crowds that you will encounter by walking.
