I am trying to plan a week at WDW at the end of March. I want to stay in a kidsuite or a two room suite so off property is probably the best. I would like to be less than $80 a night. Any suggestions? I am really sick of looking at hotels! If the price is low we will rent a car. If not we will use hotel shuttle. I have stayed at a Disney hotel and loved it but it was two small for two young children. Help!

You might look into the Calypso Cay hotels--there is an Amerisuites and a Country Inn and Suites in that complex. We had a room (not a suite, though they do have "kidsuites") booked at the Country Inn there in Nov/Dec 2002 using the Entertainment rate, which was about $40 before tax. We ended up cancelling prior to our stay though. It's a relatively new complex and there are some good reviews on this board. It might be a bit of a challenge to find a suite for under $80, but you might check out some of the hotels listed for Orlando on the Entertainment Card webside--you might find a good deal. Go to www.entertainment.com and click on preview a book--plug in Orlando and scroll through the offerings. Good luck! :D

Hi Morgans Mom,

You may want to try ebay. Often times homes or timeshares are listed and you can get a week for $400 - $600. Also, if you email me at dwbarc@aol. com I can send you another possible alternative.
