Hello all,
My name is John(37), DW Michelle(NA) and DD Cailyn(3). We have been to the WORLD many times, twice since DD was born. We are planning another trip for summer 2014(4th of July week).
We need some advice. We are torn between where to stay. Please give any insights. Our choices are: 1. AofA LM with deluxe dining
2. WL regular dining
3. CBR or POR regular dining
We have stayed at POR before and enjoyed it. I however like to stay at different places. The reason we are torn is the deluxe dining while it would be awesome to do it, it's a lot of sit down meals. We are all about the parks. We get up at the crack of dawn and are at park opening every day. We love the rides and the characters. This will be a 9 day 9 night vacation. Any advice is welcome. Thank you all in advance.

Wilderness Lodge sounds like your best bet.

I'm a big fan of the Disney Tourist Blog and he is pretty much the reason I will never purchase (even for free when room discounts are offered) the DDP. That being said... I would most definitely purchase the DxDDP of it were a few days. 9 days would be impossible to keep up with 3 TS credits (even considering I would use 1 TS for brunch and 2 TS fore signature dinner).

So, if I were you and absolutely relied on DDP.. I'd stay at WL because it's close to MK and 2 credit TS's for your little one and you don't have to stress about 2-3 TS a day

The Deluxe dining would be great if it was just you and your wife. Since your daughter is going, go with the DDP. The Deluxe is way too much sit down restaurant for a 3 year old. You get plenty of food on the regular plan anyway.

If you are really all about the parks...save money and do regular dining at AoA LM room!

I say go with option #2! With a 3 yr old, it depends on how many 2 credit TS character dining meals you plan on doing. I think you will be fine on the regular dining plan and if you plan on spending more time in MK, WL will offer the best location.

Totally agree with this!

If you want to focus on a slower day and less rides than the Deluxe plan is the way to go...lets you experience more dining options and better places. However, if you still plan on hitting the parks hard all day every day then you should stick with the regular plan.

As far as resort...WL is hard to beat as far as atmosphere but if you are price pointing it up for Deluxe than you should stick to a Moderate/Value resort to keep within your price point.

I vote WL too. With a little one you might enjoy the ferry ride to MK and regular dining is always plenty of food for most families.
