I still need to book 4 nights hotel for our upcoming trip. During that time, we will be attending a convention for work.
I'm trying to make up my mind where I want to stay. The hotel where the convention is, is unfortunately too expensive (although it would be great to stay there).
So I currently have 2 options lined up, a sensible one and a dreamy one.
Sensible option:
Stay at a Holiday Inn not too for from the convention (5 minutes drive). It's cheap and gets good review, plus we'll be collecting priority club points which we can then use for another trip. Plus, we get a chance of an upgrade as we are the highest level in the loyalty scheme.
Dreamy option:
For about £50 more we can stay at the Pop Century. This is further away from the convention (17 minutes drive), no fridge or microwave like the Holiday Inn would have. But it would be easy to get our suitcases transferred for us by Disney from the SSR to the Pop.
Realistically speaking, we won't be spending a lot of time at either hotels. The convention is so jampacked plus all the socialising, won't leave us much time for anything else. We probably wouldn't get to enjoy the resort much until the final day.
So should I be sensible and just book at the Holiday Inn, or do I pay that £50 extra to have that little bit of extra Disney magic?
