We're thinking of maybe coming to Orlando, mainly for a some R&R. We probably won't buy Disney Tickets (as there getting too expensive, as this is just a relaxation trip; we might do Universal and SeaWorld)
Anyways, we thinking of anything between 7-14days (not sure yet depends on money). We plan on flying in from NYC after some sightseeing there.
I'm looking for a cheap hotel, but decent pool areas -- as that's were most of our time we be spent!
So I'm thinking maybe Disney's POP -- Is this stupid staying in Disney if were not going to the parks. We probably would go to DTD and the Boardwalk, maybe a meal at one of the hotel restaurants. For the week is £364
Our other choice is Best Western Lakeside which is £308 for the week, so about £60 cheaper, but POP has more than 1 pool, and much nicer areas, compared to Lakeside.
Or does anyone else have any hotel recco's around £350 for a week, with a nice pool area?
We will have a car rental, so getting to Uni/SW will take the same time from either POP or Lakeside.
What do you think? I'm lending towards POP, but I don't know how hard it's going to be staying in Disney without going to any of the parks?
Any opinions, advice much appreciated.
