Where to stay?

My husband and I (29 and 30) are planning on taking our mothers (we actually all get along) to the World in March or April 2009. While I know prices aren't out yet, I am still trying to get an idea of where we might stay and when exactly we should go.

We will stay on property. I'd like us to be in the same resort with some privacy. Our mothers will share a bedroom. So my options might be two separate rooms at a moderate resort (I love POR) or maybe a 2 bedroom villa at SSR or OKW. Obviously I prefer the rate at the moderate but enjoy the amenities at a deluxe. I also don't know if a 2BR Villa may just be too much space for us - seeing that it can sleep 8.

Also, I'd like to know when the best week would be to go. Most people feel that the first week of March is still in the low crowds but according to the 2008 prices the first week of March is considered to be Peak prices - mind you Easter comes a bit later in 2009.

I would love to hear any and all thoughts. Note, the countdown ticker is my wishful thinking! :disrocks:

We've priced out the villas vs 2 rooms.
When I checked it out 2 rooms was still cheaper than a 1 villa.
Maybe have everyone put in their vote to what resort they want and
start from there if there's a majority.
Or, you know your mothers, what kind of atmosphere would they like?
Southern? Caribean? S. West?
Also consider their age...do they need a resort close so they can rest?
Just a few thoughts.

A little bit more about the mom's:

My mom is going to be 57 this year. She has been to Disney more times than me. She loves the Beach Club, DCL, and Deluxe resorts like me.

My MIL is going to be 60 in March. The purpose of this trip is to celebrate her milestone birthday. She hasn't been to WDW since EPCOT was a young child. So she is practically a first-timer.

Fortunately both of our mothers are very fit and active and while I am sure we will need the usual mid-afternoon siesta, I am not worried about our moms ability to keep up.

Using the 2008 prices, I have priced out the two options and have found that while the 2 moderate rooms are cheaper for a reasonable amount more we should be able to upgrade. Is it worth it?

I love the deluxe resorts, the theming and restaurants make these special. The only moderate I have stayed in is CBR and it was huge, it would put me off staying there again. We have points at SSR but have not stayed there yet - my favourite is the WL. You could look at buying DVC points off the internet, it is sometimes cheaper than direct from Disney.
