alright so were like 95% sure were going to DLRP so now the question is where should we stayy?

i have a few ideas
but what are your opinions
heres what ive come up withh

1) Residence Du Parc
2) Dream Castle Hotel
3) Explorers Hotel
4) Radisson SAS Hotel
5) Pierre & Vacances Hotel

these are just ideas though
if you have better suggestions
or if you have stayed in one of these hotels

i would LOOOOVE feedback

Out of your liste we only stayed at the Explorers. It is a great hotel but with many families and children as they have rooms for up to 6 people!
But I would recomend this hotel to everyone.

Have you considered to take a package and stay at one of the Disney Hotels?
These are by far the best hotels in the resort! :wizard:

Hi disneycruise_obessed and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, posting guidelines can be found here and details regarding help on signatures here

From your choices Explorer and Dream Castle would be my preference based on their proximity to the part and the shuttle service :)

Another vote for Explorers. We havent stayed at any others but would def recomend Explorers and would be happy to stay there again ourselves

alright
so i'll tell my dad about explorers
and i did consider staying at one of the DLP resorts.
but we only have 1 (maybe 2, depending how much i can push) nights, and since theyre really expensive i looked for the less expensive hotels

aproximately how much would you say explorers is per night.
i read about $150
or something around there
were shooting for 200 and under per night

alright thaanks

anyone know the exchange rate from euros to american dollars
oh wait
i could probabaly just go look that up

hah

If you have to look on your pennies than I could also recommend the Holiday Inn! It is right next door to the Explorers and has even 4*!
And if you book via the Holiday Inn homepage 3 month before your trip you can get 60€ per room and night (without breakfast)!
We always stay there during our first night before we change to one of the Disney Hotels. That way we can start the first Disney day relaxed and with rope drop!

By the way: The Holiday Inn has a circus theme!

disneycruise_obessed, have a look in our Hotel FAQ sticky for info on Explorers and Holiday Inn. :goodvibes

I can recommend the Explorers. :thumbsup2 The size of my family prevents us staying at the Holiday Inn otherwise I would have no hesitation staying there.

We have stayed at both explorer and holiday inn and would recomend them both.

Us too :thumbsup2

For a good comfortable base both are great. Child friendly with all the usual amenities without the breakfast time Disney characters. (Although you will get your fix in the parks all day :goodvibes )
