Where to stay with 3 adults and 3 separate, comfortable beds?

I think the title pretty much sums up my question.

I know that most of the regular resort rooms will sleep 4 adults, but 2 would have to share a bed, and I'm pretty sure the 3 adults I'm thinking about (me included) would not want to share with anyone.

I was looking at the AoA suites, but two of the sleeping surfaces look like they'd be really uncomfortable.

Is there any way to do this without having either 2 rooms or a 2-bedroom?

I've never traveled to WDW with 2 other adults, so this is new territory for me.

On site, if possible. Disney Springs area would be all right too.

If you don’t have any objection to staying off property, I would recommend checking out Diamond Resorts and Hotels. You can get a 2 or 3 bedroom at a great rate and it is only 5 minutes from Disney Springs. Disney resorts (except for AOA and the villas) charge extra for a 3rd adult. I don’t have any connection to Diamond Resorts but I stayed at one of their resorts (Cypress Pointe) a few weeks ago and it was really nice. If you want to stay at a resort at Disney, you could try the Disney Vacation Club Villas. They are not cheap though.

Thanks, joujanet. The extra charge for the 3rd person is not an issue here. It's the 3 comfortable sleeping surfaces that is. A 2-bedroom villa is out of the budget. And, frankly, I don't want to give up the 60-day FP+ selection, so it's on site or Disney Springs. Unless there's somewhere else that has the 60-day FP+ privileges.

If anyone who's stayed at AoA suites and slept not in the bedroom there would chime in, that would be very helpful. Thanks!

I stayed there at least 3 times and slept on the sofa. It is not that bad. Kids slept on pull down bed and they had no complaints either. If you slept on a pull out sofa that is what the mattresses are like. It all depends on what the person likes.

Have you looked into renting a DVC room from an owner? Check out David's rentals. It may be within your budget because it's often comparable or close to an AoA suite. The one bedrooms at places like OKW have a sleeper chair, sleeper sofa, and a king bed.

Check out pricing at dvcrequest.com

The day beds and roll aways at the Deluxe resorts (not AK or WL) are very comfortable. I have not found a sleeper sofa anywhere on property actually comfortable.

I have the same issue with my college age dd's they will share if they have to but I try and find accommodations with 3 beds when I can. They don't mind a sleeper sofa so we have had good experiences with AOA, the queen is obviously the most comfortable, 2nd is the murphy and 3rnd the sofa but they say its pretty comfy :)

We also like the Studio Vilas that have the single murphy and the sofa bed, like the family suites you don't get the extra adult charge and the mini kitchen is a great bonus. We often stay at the boardwalk vilas but the Beach Club and the Wilderness lodge (boulder) have 3 beds as well.

Honestly - I am not sure where your going to get 3 actual beds on property other than a 2 bedroom villa though.

2 queen plus sofa sleeper at Doubletree Disney springs. My 6'2" daughter slept comfortably on the sofa bed. Plus it is alot of space.

A standard room at the Poly, Grand Floridian or Contemporary will have 2 queens and a daybed. Probably your best bet.

I agree with this. I've slept on the daybeds in these resorts a few times and they are comfortable. They feel like real beds. The beds at AoA were quite literally the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept on.

I would look into CR, GF and Poly.

I also suggest one of the Disney Springs Resorts; EMH, 60 day fast passes, park transportation, and way better pricing for nicer accommodations.

We've stayed at AoA three times so far. My husband and I are always in the master bedroom. Our adult/late teen sons have always slept on the other two beds. They've both said that they found the beds comfortable. Our son who slept on the Innova bed (table bed) said it was the most comfortable hotel bed he's ever slept on. The other son said that the sofa bed was not bad -- not the best hotel bed he's ever slept in but by far the best sofa bed he's ever slept on. I've lounged/napped on both of those beds and found them to be fine. However, the queen bed in the master bedroom is horrible in my opinion. It's extremely firm and my hips and shoulders feel bruised after 1 night on that bed (I'm a side sleeper). I always request extra blankets that I fold up and put on top of the mattress like a mattress topper. That makes it a little more tolerable for me. I would prefer to sleep on either one of the other beds if I could. My husband, however, loves the bed in the master bedroom.

I agree with getting a deluxe hotel, either the MK resorts (Poly, GF, or CR) all have rooms with 2 queens plus day bed. Last time I stayed at GF with both daughters one took the day bed and said it was quite comfy.
Also the Epcot resorts have 2 Queens + day bed, but not all rooms so you’d have to request.

We stayed a night at the Disney Springs Doubletree pre WDW reservation when we decided to arrive early. Got great discount code thru Mousesavers.com web site with free breakfast and room discount. Tons of room. 1 bedroom suite with 2 queens in bedroom and pull out sofa in living room. Much larger than AoA suite and half the cost.

Many thanks to everyone for your detailed and informative replies! Lots of fuel for thought here. And it looks like there are many choices, which is great.

Fort wilderness cabins have a bed, bunk bed and sofa bed. Something to consider. The Dolphin near Boardwalk has suites as well.

And the Dolphin will provide a roll-away.

For my last trip with 2 other adults I purchased a nice inflatable air mattress from Amazon. Double high, so the person using it didn't have to get so low to get on. My 20 something nephew used it, and said it was fine. He will be using it again this fall as he is now joining me and sis on a stay at the Dolphin.

Just remembered the bunk bed rooms - depending on sizing AKL and WL have bunk bed rooms with a Q and bunk beds :)

Right! I totally forgot about that. That's a great idea. Maybe my favorite so far. And IIRC, that's a bookable category.

I know you’re not looking at the 2 bedroom villas, but just in case, the only one with 3 proper beds is the OKW 2 bedroom.

The main bedroom has a king bed, then the studio that attaches to make it a two bedroom has two separate actual beds. (And the living room/kitchen has a sofa bed and pullout chair)

the others DVC resorts (except BWV and to a degree BCV) - do have 2-bedrooms with 3 beds - the difference is between lock out (1-bedroom and studio) or dedicated (this has 3 beds mostly).

even 2 values room might not get what you want - they did have 2 single beds in each room - heard that had changed with some value rooms have a queen bed in them.

the problem with them all is who gets which bed - especially if the cost is split between all 3.
