It is the eve of making my 7 month reservation! We are going to try SSR this time. We usually get the earliest flight out in the morning and spend the first day feeling like zombies. I'm thinking of flying in the night before this time. Can anyone suggest a nice clean inexpensive room somewhere between MCO and Disney? There will be 4 adults. Thanks in advance for the help.

If you're not renting a car a good strategy is to stay at a hotel near the airport, such as the Fairfield Inn or Springhill Suites (I'm a Marriott fan), utilizing their free shuttle from the airport. Then the next morning take their free shuttle back to the airport and catch DME to SSR.

If you are renting a car there are several good hotels near WDW, including the ones on Hotel Plaza Blvd. Just stick with national chains and you'll be fine.

We have stayed at the Hyatt right in MCO twice after late flights and LOVED it. It was so nice to walk off the plane--grab luggage--and go check in. I think we were in our room in less than 20 mins!! They have many options for eating and the rooms are very nice. It wasn't cheap--but split four ways would make it reasonable.

This assumes they will have a room ready that early in the morning since check in is at 3:00. If I were you (and you me actually) I would pay the extra day and go directly to resort and have a non park down day. Then there's no hoping the room is ready and such. my 2p

We fly out the night before and get a room only at the resort we are staying at for the trip. Many times, you can just keep the room you are in for the remainder of your trip. This is NOT guaranteed though.

We've stayed at the Hyatt right at the airport. Got in at around 11pm. Rooms were ready to go and we were able to get a decent night's sleep before taking DME to the resort in the morning.
