Hello! I'm trying to find the closest place for our family to stay. We'll need 2, maybe 3 bedrooms. We'll be brining out baby, she'll be 14 months at that time with us. I'd like to be as close to the World as I can. Anything you can suggest would be great! I've also posted this on the family board.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo at Windsor Hills and rented from Floridasunvacationhomes in May 2009. It was our 3rd time staying off site. It was a very positive experience. Floridasun was professional, we received a fantastic rate, and everything was as advertised. They were willing to answer any questions we had in a prompt manner as well. We will definately rent from them again.

We love Wyndham's Bonnet Creek Resort, as close "off-site" as you can get, since it's kind of on-site (right next Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort). Look at photos at bonnetcreek.com, but reserve through vacationupgrades.com.

Rather than concentrate on rental houses only you may want to look into some of the many timeshares (like Bonnet Creek already mentioned) that can be closer to Disney (as in under a mile) and far more resort like and feature filled than a rental home while still offering 2-3 (or more) bedrooms, full kitchens, and more. They can be far easier to rent or exchange into than rental homes, more like making a hotel reservation vs an often more complicated (and possibly risky) rental agreement with a relative stranger/small company.

I thought the Radisson had a great location on SR 535. We stayed there from Jan 8-19...I really miss it! I was not bothered by the location next to the interstate. I slept well on the Sleep Number beds :) I also liked the restaraunts around there including TGI Friday's, Olive Garden, BurgerKing(we don't have one way up here...lol), Red Lobster.
We were also about a 5 minute drive from WalMart as well as an outlet shopping mall on 535.
We could drive to DTD in under 5 minutes. We could drive to Epcot&DHS in maybe 10. MK maybe 10-15. Animal Kingdom wasn't much farther iirc.
Our 2 Queen suite was under a hundred bucks a night.
