Could someone please tell me the name of a Hotel we could stay the night before departure.

Convenience is important. I'd like someplace that has or could arrange transportation in the morning

Also, what company should I contact about transportation from the airport to hotel and from the dock (after cruise) to WDW. We do not have a package and need to make these arrangements ourself.

I finally talked my husband into flying now I have to start working on the couple that's going with us and I'd like to have all the information available.

Thanks for any help.

There is also some good info at Dave's site: www.dcltribute.com

For our recent cruise, i got a good rate from hotwire to stay at the Sheraton Suites across from MCO. Then we hired a towncar company to take us from the Sheraton to the port and then back again the following Saturday. Worked out very well.

I have heard RonJon's is great. Right near the port. Also the Radisson.

we stayed at the Radisson & used their free shuttle bus service with no problems. They also have a very nice pool with a waterfall that our kids loved...

we always stay at the Hyatt -- located right inside the Orlando Airport. Mention AAA or the Entertainment Card and you should get a discount.

The convenience is unbeatable. When you get off the plane, the hotel is right there- - inside. No taxis needed. And they specialize in guests staying there who are sailing on the Disney Cruise. If you get Disney transfers, the hotel will give you a special letter when you check in telling you when and where to put your luggage out and when to meet the DCL reps in their lobby. We didn't do anything but roll out of bed and down to the lobby -- they did everything else.

If you make a reservation, be sure to mention you are going on the Disney Cruise Line and ask for a specialist in that package.

Thanks to everyone. I've made some calls, got the info I need, now all I have to do is convince our friends to fly.

We've stayed twice at the Radisson - nice resort, easy transportation. We will be trying the Ron Jon this time - heard really great things about it! Good luck...
