Where to stay in Tallahassee?

We decided rather than drive straight through to Orlando, to leave the day before and rest for a night in Tallahassee...now the question is, where can we stay cheaply there?

Holiday Inn runs about $65 (which granted isn't too bad, but we are trying to stick to a budget).

We want someplace clean and pretty close to the interstate, since we don't want to spend the entire night driving around looking for a hotel. And something in a safe area as well.

We are heading out from the New Orleans area if that helps any.

That is a good question> We will probably do the same thing. We will be leaving from Baton Rouge and hoping to get to Tallahassee for a nights rest. I hope someone has some info. Hope yall have a great trip
