Where to stay for 1 night?

We are thinking of a quick overnight trip to Disney in October (we live a few hours away). We love WBC for longer stays but I don't think you can stay there just one night. I was just going to book something on site but there's hardly anything available and the prices are nuts. Any recommendations for something close to Disney? We've got a 1 and 3 year old and will have a car.

I dont know if its good bad or just ok but we are going to try Comfort Inn Maingate. its near the back road that leads into Animal Kingdom side of WDW.

We've stayed several times at Mystic Dunes Resort and Golf Club, it's in the Maingate West area. It's Condos that used to be a time share complex (still is I think) It's a 3.5 star with good reviews. The 2 bedroom suite can usually be had for $100 or less and it's huge (1200+ sq.ft.) Complex has several pools and it's a little off the beaten path as it's on a golf course but still only a few minutes off Disney property. This is what we pick if taking the family. The one bedroom or Studio can be had for less and is great for when its just the DW and myself.
I've found great deals on Priceline in the past for this property, it quite often ends up in the Express Deals (you have to do a little research to figure out which hotels are which).

This sounds perfect for my family and I once we come back from our cruise. Thanks

THere is the Celebration Bohemian Hotel and the Melia suites in Celebration...only a few minutes to WDW.

Don't write off Wyndham Bonnet Creek. I know you can certainly reserve the Sheraton Vistana Resort/Villages for a night direct through Sheraton, and I don't see why Wyndham wouldn't do the same. You can certainly stay at the Wyndham Grand right next door. If you can't get BC, consider the Sheraton Vistana resorts. I haven't stayed at WBC, but have stayed at several other Wyndham timeshares in the North East and would rate the Sheratons considerably higher. Access to the parks is excellent, parking is free, internet is free, no resort fees.

When we went for a day over Christmas Break last year, we stayed at Maingate Resort and Spa. Not nearly as fancy as it sounds, but it was a good location for a good price!

We just stayed last night at the Hampton Inn South Lake Buena vista. The room was huge could sleep 7 and still have plenty of room. It is 8 miles from AKL. Rate was $80 but we got it for free because of a room issue on a prior stay at a different location. Room was clean. Location was great. Free hot breakfast.

We also saw the Clarion Inn on Palm Pkwy looks nice.
