trying to decide where i should convinve my mom to let us stay so if you could vote or post where and why you like to stay there that would be much appreciated

Out of all the resorts we've stayed at, the Poly is our favorite :goodvibes. We love the large rooms and that all rooms come with a daybed, the tropical atmosphere is beautiful and it's wonderful having the beach to watch the fireworks while relaxing in a hammock :cloud9:. We also love the volcano pool and think it's so magical having a dead on view of the castle while swimming :wizard:. Plus being on the monorail is very convenient for not only getting to MK, but for visiting the GF and CR for shopping and dining :thumbsup2.

My vote was for the Boardwalk Inn because in my opinion they have a great theme and atmosphere.

However if you decided to go with the Contemporary that would be another great choice.

Out of that list, I would definitely go with Poly. It, Contemporary and OKW are the three resorts I have to stay at someday. I love the themes and atmosphere and just everything. :yay:

haven't voted yet but before I give my vote, who all is going? any kids? Do you have a budget? are you going to spend alot of time in your room/at the hotel or most of the time in the parks?

I think all of these make a big difference on what hotel I would vote for.

We will be traveling with 44, 43, 18, and 14 year olds guaranteed and possibly two senors (they will go anywhere the rest of the family goes if they come) and on a tight budget for this year we are able to stay at a moderate but we could have afforded to stay at one of the cheaper deluxe (WL was one of our final choices but we choose POFQ) and next year we will more than likely have more room in the budget so we can basically afford to stay at any resort just not the villas or vacation homes. and we spend most of the time in the parks but we do like to come back to our hotel for a little to take a rest mid day (also i saw what my mother voted for in this poll and it was poly but she has liked every resort we have stayed at)

Okie doke, knowing all the details, I have to agree with your mom......and I voted the poly (not that I am anyone special:rotfl:). Since there are no small kids, I would stay away from the values(eventhough, we stay at POP everytime we bring our grandkids when they turn 11 and we LOVE POP), I believe that the Poly is amazing (a paradise in Disney) and with it being on the monorail I believe that IF the 2 seniors come along, it will be much easier and more relaxing if they want to hang at the hotel instead of going to one of the parks. Plus you have O'hana right there in the hotel! That is one of the best places to eat at Disney!!!

Let all your disfriends know where you pick!

Good luck

Which wasnt even an option until my uncle and his family decided to come with us!

I picked BC they are DVC too. For whatever reason SSR never appealed to me. Very spread out and far from parks.
Kidani or WL villas would be nice too.

I'm still not the biggest fan of the themeing of the resort, but I am really excited to stay there I love staying at different resorts and this will be the first villa or DVC resort I will stay at!

I picked Beach Club - I have always wanted to stay at this one! SO close to Epcot and HS and that pool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:wizard:
