Where to start???

It has been a long time since I posted on these boards (my goodness how the DIS has grown!) and after countless trips to WDW I find myself trying to plan a trip to IOA. We went to IOA about a year ago and had a great time and want to go back. We have decided to stay at the HRH and I keep reading about entertainment rates and books and I'm not sure what ya'll are talking about. Any help with this would be great. Also, we are not interested in doing the Studios but are planning on 2 days in IOA. What are our best ticket options? We are not members of AAA or any other "club" like that. I guess what I'm saying is HELP!!!

Hi FSUfan!

The Entertainment Book is something you can buy from www.entertainment.com. I think the cost is btw 30.00-35.00 dollars and what the card does is give you up to 50% off select hotels and other things. I would first call HRH and ask them if the ER(Entertainment Rate) is available during your stay before buying the book. Another route to take is to buy an AP which I think is 169.00(?). Also ask first if the rate is available. Another alternative is trying a on-line companies like expedia.com, travelocity.com, and hoteldiscounts.com. I have found the HRH for 139.95 a night at the hoteldiscounts.com which is only a little more than the ER. Your best ticket option would most likely be to either get the tickets from FSU(that is were you work right?), ticketmainia.com, or right here at the DIS at TicketRES. Hope this helps you. I'm sure others have more info to give.
