Where to sit on Star Tours

My son sometimes gets car sick (though he can read in a car, go figure) and wants to go on Star Tours tomorrow. I know that the back row has a lot of motion but I have heard two different opinions on what row has the least motion. I have heard the center is the least motion, which makes sense sense if that is the center of motion for the ride. I have also heard that the first row has the least motion. Any advice on which row would be best? Thanks!

I think that the first row has the least amount of motion. I like to be tossed around on that ride, so I like the very back!

I don't get carsick, but I do get motion sick on virtual reality type rides, rides with screens (eg. HP & the Forbidden Journey I'm okay if I close my eyes in the screen bits), and anything that goes backwards.

The CMs have told me that the center of the center row is the best, so usually they put me in row three, in the middle. In Star Tours its about how what you're seeing coordinates with what you're feeling. The "arm" that controls each pod, or room, steers from the middle which is why you get the least amount of tilt there.

It might depend on what kind of motion sickness he gets, though. I've heard different opinions, too, and sometimes it seems like it relates to what makes a person motion sick.
