Where to see Brer Rabbit?

My youngest son's favorite ride is Splash Mtn. Is Brer Rabbit ever around to sign autographs and get pictures? I would guess he might sometimes be around the ride, but we've never come across him.

I've seen Brer Bear and Brer Fox at the exit from Splash Mtn, but never Brer Rabbit. That would be my best guess at where to find him though. Good luck.

Believe it or not, I saw Brer Rabbit outside the gate of AK last week signing autographs. I don't know if he is usually there. This was around 12:30p on a Friday.

You might want to try asking at Guest Relations at the Parks. I understand they have a schedule where the characters are.

I also saw Brer Rabbit at the entrance to Animal Kingdom. He was out there at opening on an early entry day. I was so tickled 'cause I was hoping to get a pic of him for DD. I'm sure he is other places, but this is the only place I've ever seen him.

I saw Brer Rabbit in Camp Minnie Mickey at Animal Kingdom in January. Last May, I saw him with Brer Bear outside the exit for Splash Mountain, but in January I never saw him at all at MK.

And also - don't count totally on Guest Services! Sometimes they have no idea what character is out at any given time. On my last trip, I went to Guest Services at MK and asked when Brer Bear would be out. The CM made a call, and then told me that he is hardly ever out, and was not out at all that day, so sorry. Then I stepped outside, and Voila! There was Brer Bear coming out not more than twenty feet away! I learned not to trust Guest Services - sometimes it pays to just keep your eyes open instead!

I saw him for the first time at the entrance to Ak with Meeko and Mushu. If you don't see him there, I've heard he's often at Camp Minnie-Mickey, and, if you're lucky, at Mk at Town Square on Main Street or by the Train Station at Toontown.
