Where to see a BLT model?

We'll be staying at SSR soon and wondering if they still have the DVC models to tour? If not where at wdw would we find them?

Yes they do. Models of BLT and AKV are at the DVC preview center at SSR and I believe they are open to members from 5-7. If those times did not work for you I'm sure you could give your guide a call to schedule another time.

Absolutely!! At SSR, they have model rooms for a "locked off" 2 bedroom BLT model, which means that you will see both a studio and a one bedroom. While I only toured the BLT models, they were absolutely amazing! Enjoy your stay!

Thank you! We purchased without looking and staying at ssr will make it easier to get a glimpse of what the feel of the room is.

Do we need an appointment? Also, at the resort where are they located? We haven't ever stayed at ssr either.

If you go between 5-7 it's considered Member Open House time, you won't need a guide or an appointment. At other times, they will usually want to send someone with you to tour the models.

We were there a few weeks ago, and they also had a small model of a THV to view, which was really cool.

You can find a map of SSR at allearsnet dot com, click on Accommodations and scroll down to the DVC resorts on the left side to click on Saratoga Springs photos.

The DVC Center is between the Carriage House where you check in and Artist's Palette restaurant. The actual models are across the street (kind of) but we just followed the guide and I wasn't paying attention to exactly where they are located. You'll probably see the DVC vans in the parking lot near the models and/or near the DVC Center.

Just in case you ever want to see a model of the Boardwalk Villas, there are models of the studio and one bedroom open every day for just a drop in visit. The models are located between Big River Grill and JellyRolls right on the Boardwalk.

This is a great way to see another resort not at the Saratoga Springs Preview Center.
