So we are staying at the DIsney All Star Music Resort in a standard room in 2 weeks courtesy of my parents. I am looking at the layout of the room and wondering if there is a way that the pack n play could fit in front of the sink in the alcove by the bathroom. I am afraid my 10m old will not fall asleep unless he cannot see us. I could maybe bring a curtain or something to put over the alcove opening if the crib will fit there.

I only stayed in a value for 1 night but to the best of my recollection, a pack 'n play would not fit in the vanity area. I set DD's up in the space between the armoire and vanity area entrance.

If you don't hang anything in the closet area, it will fit in that closet, next to the sink All-Star Music has a privacy curtain between the sink area and the room, so you can pull that closed. Everyone will have to go through that curtain to go to the bathroom, however, so if he's a light sleeper, you'll be disturbing him every time.

This is one of the drawbacks of the value resorts. There is very little open floor space for a crib. Your options are:

-next to the bed nearest the door (this is where we usually store the stroller when back at the hotel)
-the space where the table and chairs are (if you move those next to the bed by the door)
-next to the dresser/armoir nearest the bathroom
-possibly in the "closet" in the bathroom. Getting that set up would be tricky. :)

As mentioned above, there is indeed already a privacy curtain that separates the bathroom vanity area from the rest of the room. Good luck!
