Where to purchase our admission tickets

Hi We are going to Disneyland for 3 days in July and I am wondering where I should buy our tickets in order to get the best deal. Do you get them at the gate, from the Disneyland website or is there another option? Thanks.

Best prices I have found are at www.arestravel.com. They are reputable. I have bought from them in the past and will probably do so again for our June trip.

don't know if you/someone you know works for the government/DOD/military, but the cheapest tickets I've found are through the army MWR.

I just picked up two 4-day hoppers for $153.50/ea. That's $20.50 less than ARES per ticket!!

From what I've read, buying them at the gate is the worst (highest) price you'll pay.
Most travel agencies can get them for you, and at a cheaper price than buying them when you arrive at the gate.

If you are talking about the adults for kids price, that ended in late April.

FYI - watch the military tickets. Heard from a couple military moms who purchased tickets recently and were very surprised when what arrived were not park hoppers but 2fers. Some sort of accidental thing has been going on, it's not intentional but the $$$ you have to pay to make up for it later can be pricey.

hopefully i won't run into that problem. I triple-checked.. and they said they were the actual park hopper tickets, and included EE for 1 visit.

when purchasing online make sure you include shipping and handling charges if the company has them.....one web site might seem a little cheaper until you factor that in.....

I have purchased from arestravel.com in the past as well as the disneyland web site...but both have changed their shipping and handling fees since.

Purchasing before you get there also saves you waiting in the ticket booth line once you arrive....you can go right up to the entrance gate!

I make many calls before we buy our ticket. Why? Each time I find that I get a better price from someone who had bad prices last time.

MWR does have good prices, but it can aLso depend on what MWR you buy them from (strange, but true). I am thinking by your location you are not US military.

Last year I called the WDTC at 1-877-345-3476 and we got a fabulous deal.

I have called AAA one year and they had the best deal going.

I have called other travel companies also in the past, but it seems to change everytime I look.

I will tell you that with a few calls and or a few website visits you will find what works for you.

Also check with the hotel you are staying at, they may have a good deal also.

If you pre-purchase thru the DLR website, then this is always offered and is not a special deal. It is a good reason to always buy your tickets in advance, and also saves you from having to wait in line at the ticket booth.
