Where to purchase mini pins?

Hi!

I want to purchase mini pins for my Pal Mickey's pin lanyard. Where can you find these except on ebay? Would they carry them at the Disney Store and/or at WDW?

I'm not in a rush to get them before our upcoming trip, but if they are available at WDW I'd like to know where so I can look for them.

Mini pins are not always easy to come by. The Disney Store occasionally has pins and most of the pins that they sell are quite a bit smaller than the pins sold in the parks.

My DS12 has a Pal Mickey and he has traded for most of the mini pins that his Pal Mickey wears. There is even a Cast Member in the Animal Kingdom that only trades mini pins.

Just keep your eyes open. You may find that the hunt is a lot of fun!!

I'm always able to find mini pins at the Disney Outlet store @ Opry Mills mall in Nashville, TN. Recently I got all 7 dwarves, 4 on one card, 3 on the other with Snow White. The cards were $4.50/each.

I also couldn't find any mini pins for my niece's Pal Mickey so I used a substitute that works out really great.
I bought some small kids earrings at DTD that have characters on them. I have Tink, Mickey, Minnie and Marie(the cat). The earings were cheap, I seem to remember they were $3 or $4 for 3 pairs of the same character. I just bought some pin backs and they worked great. The earring backs are a little longer than pin backs so if you want to you can cut them with a wire cutter.
I haven't looked at TDS for earrings but you could probably find kids earrings but probably not Disney, at Claire's etc... Or if you are creative get some of the small stickers, like the ones they sell to put on kids fingernails and stick them onto a thumbtack. Just make sure you use the rubber pin backs to stick the thumbtack into.
None of these would be tradeable but if you are just looking for pins to decorate Pal Mickey they would work great.

The earrings are a great idea. I mostly just want something to decorate his lanyard with, not to trade. I've been watching what's being offered on ebay, but most of those mini's are around one inch, too large for Pal Mickey.

I'll put the earrings on my list of things to purchase once I get to WDW. Thanks for the tip!
