Where to pick-up Will Call tickets?

We bought our tickets online through Disney and chose will-call to pick them up and they are not connected to a room reservation so we won't have magic bands sent to us. We are staying at Pop Century. Can I pick up my tickets at Pop or will I have to either get them from Guest Relations at Downtown Disney or at the parks?

You will get MagicBands for your reservation at Pop Century. If it's not already, you need to link the room reservation to your MDE account so you can customize the MagicBands. The will call confirmation for the tickets should also be linked to your account (if not already). Since you are eligible for MagicBands (because of resort stay), you don't need to get the actual tickets (unless you want them as a backup).

I have magic bands for Pop Century but I bought my tickets under a separate MDE and don't want to link the two.

No, at DHS, I had to get my "Will call" tickets at the ticket selling window, not Guest Relations. I remember I was sort of upset, too because at first I stood in the Guest Relations line until they told me at the counter I'd been in the wrong line.

Ugh that stinks! I don't want to waste precious park time standing in line! We arrive on Tuesday and don't plan to attend a park until Wednesday but will probably do Downtown Disney Tuesday evening, so maybe I'll see if I can pick them up somewhere there.

You were given the run-around by the DHS CM(s.)

Guest Relations can do everything a ticket booth can do, and more.
You were royally cheated.

You can pick up tickets at your resort concierge.

Yes, a WDW resort concierge can issue all tickets EXCEPT for to Annual Passes.

And, to restate the facts:

Will Call tickets can be picked up at any ticket booth or Guest Relations inside or outside any theme park including outside Epcot's International Gateway,) or at TTC (MK's parking lot,) or at two Guest Relations locations in DTD.
And also, (except for AP's) at all WDW resort concierge desks.

DTD is your best bet, since you'll be there. One Guest Relations is next to Ghiradelli's ice cream, the other is at DisneyQuest on the West Side. And, yes, Guest Relations can get you your will call tickets. The DHS CM "helping" you was pathetic.

If you are entering your will call tickets into an MDE account separate from the MDE account with your resort stay, wouldn't that mean you could only book FP+ 30 days out instead of 60 days, since that MDE account won't have info about your resort stay?

You will get MagicBands, and you can customize them from the MDE account that has the resort info listed.

The other issue with not wanting to link your tickets to your MBs will be that the resort concierge will probably ask a lot of questions about why you'd do such a thing. So that might be a reason to pick them up elsewhere.

Good tip.

I am trying to figure out why you wouldn't like your resort Magic bands to your tickets, too. That seems very odd. Will your "paper tickets" nit be linked to your stay so in addition to being unable to book fast passes 60 days out, you also won't be able to take advantage of EMH? I mean, it doesn't matter to me, I am just genuinely curious as to why you wouldn't link them.

You'd have to follow the other thread about getting same day fast passes in addition to advanced fastpasses but that is the reason I'm not linking them.
