Where to park for DTD? Saturday morning

On our departure day we have reservations for the Santa Breakfast at Catal in DTD.....where is the best place to park (preferably some place that will take validated tickets for free or discounted parking if that is even possible?)

Our hotel is right across from the main transportation hub (Anaheim Desert Inn & Suites) so if it would be better to walk from there we could do it, but prefer not to as the stroller will already be packed in the car for our immediate departure after breakfast.

Because Catal is a table service restaurant in DTD, you will be able to park for free in the DTD lot. Just make sure you get your parking ticket validated. You should be able to park for 5 hours.

I thought that parking lot closed earlier this year?

So assuming it isn't closed...where exactly is the DTD parking lot? Or at least how do we access it? And do we walk in from there, or is it a bus/tram thing?

Nope, still there. You walk from there, no bus or tram. It is near the Disneyland Hotel. There are plenty of signs for Downtown Disney Parking. It's right by ESPN Zone and Rainforest Cafe.
