and why do you like it?

I like to save $$, but not if the higher price parking is a better value(less hassle, etc)

thanks

leaving tomorrow!

I'm interested in this too. I live in the area, but always go out of O'Hare. We might be going out of Midway in December.

This might help you- we could not do it because we can't leave tonight. I found a Radisson(I think it was Radisson) for about $109 tax included and parking for $14 days. Depending on the length of your trip, this might be the same price as parking. Most places I have seen are 7.50-$10 a day(not including taxes)

Thanks. That won't work for us either. We have a 6pm flight and we both have to work that day. It is a pretty good deal though.

Also try to do a google search on parking at Midway. I can't remember the site since we wound up not flying out of Midway, but at one point there was a high rated garage with a shuttle. I think it was $35 for a week. Good luck!

The cheapest remote lot is $7 or 8 / day located on 71st and Cicero. Shuttle drops you off outside the SW ticket counter on the arrival level. This lot is a bit messy, sort of a big mostly paved space that they now use for parking, but it's about as convenient as the remote lots on 55th Street (extra 5-10 minute shuttle ride). There are also some private parking companies in the area with slightly cheaper rates but I've never used them.

Go to Midway Park Savers, which has an internet coupon for a free day of parking, making it VERY reasonable. It's extremely convenient too...right across the street from the Orange Line train entrance, so you don't have to deal with a shuttle bus. Just walk right across the street! We use them all the time. Just be careful when selecting a spot because some are quite tight.

when I do a search, midway park savers does not come up

midway park ride and fly is 82.50 for 11 days

airport parking express is $93

can't find midway park savers

why do you prefer to walk? there are 2 adults and 3 kids and a fair amount of luggage, so walking seems like it might be a hassle?
Can we get dropped off with our bags at the airport while DH parks?

Is there something wrong with Midway that the recommended time is 2 hrs before departure vs most other airports 1-1.5 hrs(on SW sight)

please reply asap
we leave in the am!

The security checkpoint was one of the worst a year or two ago. Now that they've completed lots of the remodeling, things are better. Still, expect significant delays.

HAVE FUN !!!!!!! AT WDW, THAT IS!!!

I just did Park Ride and Fly and it was great.
We're doing it again in 2 weeks.
It's located on 47th Street right off of Cicero.
They follow you to your car, take all your luggage and ask which airline you're on and drop you right off at the airline gate. When you come back you call and the shuttle will be right there to take you back to your car and help you with your luggage. I would not hesitate for a minute to recommend them. One of my co-workers also used them and would again without hesitation.

Monday mornings are the worst. Last month the line was backed-up into the garage.

I checked with my husband, as I could not find the Midway Park Savers coupon link. It used to be on ATA's website, but it is now inactive; they must have discontinued the free day of parking when ATA went into bankruptcy and pulled most of their flights from MDW. The lot itself is definitely still open, and I still recommend it, even without a discount.

After you park there the 1st time they e-mail you a coupon for one free day for your next trip and if you send their website to a friend they give the friend a free day of parking also.

I just printed their coupon from the website and the directions are different than on the home page - from the south do you turn left or right onto W. 47th Street? We are flying Midway for the first time on Thursday.

For Midway Park Saver, go to http://www.midwayparksaver.com/

For a coupon for Midway Park Saver, go to http://www.airportdiscountparking.com/ and select Midway Airport and your departure date.

When you get to 47th Street you go West, so if you're heading South on Cicero, you would turn right.

Thank you lynn714092!!!
This parking facility was great. Very professional service - we will use them again!

Glad it worked well for you.
We just got back yesterday and they were VERY busy.
Guess everyone else is finding out about them too.
The sign posted was $8.25 per day but in smaller print (but still easy to see) was Internet Special $7.50 per day, so if you recommend them make sure to tell them to book on the Internet.

how do you get to this parking from indiana? we will be taking the skyway and getting off at 59th? i think thanks

Not sure about how the Skyway runs, but it's about 2 or 3 blocks West of Cicero on 47th Street. Just turn at the McDonald's.
