In Cozumel..the post office is very close to the port..but closes around 3pm. I completely forgot to get over there before then.
In Grand Cayman..we mailed our postcards in two places. First from Hell, so we could have the hell postmark. Then from the turtle farm so we could have the regular island postmark.
In hell..there is a post office..just have the cash and know how many stamps you need. Two little shops also sell postcards.
In turtle farm..gift shops sells postcards and stamps and the mail box is right outside the giftshop.
In Key West...where you pick up the conch train..large souvenier shop with postcards and mailbox. We took stamps with us for that.
On
castaway cay..make sure you have cash, small bills to purchase your stamps with. We purchased the postcards on the ship the night before we arrived at castaway cay, had them all filled out so all we had to do was stop at the post office when we got off the ship, grab the stamps and get them mailed. There are postcards in the shops..but, the post office is up front..the shops are not..so you would have to head back to the post office to mail them before it closes. I don't believe it is open the whole time until the ship leaves..I think it closes around 3pm or so also.
