Personally, I don't put it in there. I stick mine in my suitcase under a shirt when I'm not using it. Maybe a little too trusting in mankind but it's never been a problem I just find it too much of a pain to use the safe

That's great to hear about the Pop Century safes, since I had previously read that tablets wouldn't fit in them (which I thought was odd). I had then decided I'd just hide it deep within a locked piece of luggage instead.
DH puts it up and out of site on T&T day, not so much the other days. We stay at ALK-Kidani and never had a problem. Of course there can always be a first time...then he can have mine...I never use it....prefer the computer.

I put all my electronics (GPS, MP3 player, cell phone, etc.) in a suitcase and close it when I will be out of my hotel room all day. Recently, I thought about taking suitcase locks along with me so I can lock them. I'm sure TSA would cut them when flying, so I would not put them on the suitcase until I got to my room.

I always lock my electronics with the TSA approved locks in my suitcase. We lock them when flying and have never had a lock cut. I worried about it at first, but always keep an extra one inside just in case. Even when we flew out of the states no issue. One time DH had to have his bag "inspected" in Mexico, but still they didn't cut the lock.
