Where to have lunch at MGM with kids?

I'm having a hard time deciding where would be a good place for lunch at MGM. I hear that Mama Melrose's has great food but the kids (ages 3, 4, and 7) might like someplace fun. Here are my concerns:
Will the movies at the Sci Fi scare my 3 year old?
Will my shy kids be brought to tears at the 50's Prime Time Cafe?

I would recommend the Prime Time - the waiters there are pretty good at noticing who isn't into being part of the fun - your shy 5 year old probably won't get picked on - but may enjoy Mom and Dad getting into trouble!

The kid's meals don't automatically come with green beans, so no not eating their veggies worries! The food at the Prime Time is familiar - it's my girl's favorite Disney restaurant!

If you don't want an actual sit down meal - kids that age might enjoy the Pizza Planet - it doesn't look like the one on Toy Story - but the idea is fun - it was my five year old's request - and we had fun - there is seating upstairs away from the arcade portion. The pizza's were large - definitely shareable, and the salads were good.

We haven't tried Sci Fi yet - too scary for my youngest, but I would like to try it someday. She asks every time we turn on the TV - "Is this appropriate for me?"

My vote would also be for Prime Time! CRCrazy listed some great reasons! To add to that, I think your children, even your shy child, will love it there. You are in a "group" of tables so they will be able to see the interaction going on with the servers and other tables, also!

I agree with prime time love it there. My 4yr DS liked Brown Derby, he said it was a great burger & fries. I think it bought him back from sensory over load!

I would let your waitress know if the kids are shy ( quietly) and ask her to specifically pick on you or dad.. that way the kids will laugh at YOU and not be picked on themselves and have a great time. Our kids LOVED laughing at us. I am secretly hoping they will stand DH in the corner this time, LOL! They would laugh all day!

Thanks everyone. I'm a bit nervous; but, I think we will give the Prime Time a try. Oh yeh, I might be a little reserved myself. Oh well, it should be fun. Anything for the kids, right? Although, if anyone's going to get in trouble it will be my 3 year old boy!!!! His older sisters would love that.

Wendy, I think you'll love it there! That is one of the places we go for "us" rather than the kids! The kids just happen to love it, too!
