We have an open morning to have breakfast. We are already having breakfast at Tusker House and Crystal Palace. No princess meals allowed. We have a ds 7.5, ds 3.5 and dd 2. DH and I were thinking some place with a menu but are open to suggestions. Chef Mickey is not at the top of my list either. We are staying at CSR and are using transportation. It can be at a park or resort, just not DTD.
What are peoples fav. I thought about Kona Cafe at the the Poly.

NOTE: This is a new location for a breakfast buffet. The
buffet has significantly increased its variety, and now is
very much worth the visit. At just under $20 per adult, it
is extremely reasonable for a WDW buffet. For breakfast, it
is probably the best-kept dining secret.
It has Mickey
waffles and delicious sweet potato pancakes. They use
local fresh fruit and vegetables. For those with a smaller
appetite, one can do the usual ala carte breakfast menu.

I am not a big fan of CM either. MY DS4 only talks about CM (restaurant wise) from our last trip though. When I told him we were taking him back for his next birthday, he said, "Are we going to eat at Chef Mickey's?" Boma is my favorite, but it is similar to Tusker House. If you are not against another character meal, I would go for 'Ohanas.

This is my favorite breakfast spot. The atmosphere is open and very cool, you can see the Poly surroundings, and the tonga toast is to DIE FOR.

I have 2 ressie's for our upcoming trip!

I haven't done Kona or O'Hana for breakfast, but I'm sure they'd be good. I've head you can use a CS meal if you're on the DDP and get Tonga toast at the Polynesian.
Since you're already doing my fav. breakfast, Tusker House, then I would vote for Boma!

Ohans Best friends breakfast is really good,Its a must do for us ever trip.

With your kids ages Im sure they would love Stitch....he is funny, funny.

They have a little conga going with the kids too.

The food is platter and we have really enjoyed it.

I know you said breakfast, but what about an early lunch at Sci-Fi in DHS. The cars tables and old sci-fi movies might be fun for DSs.

Ohana sounds good too!

We're going to do a breakfast at Kona one day and one at Whispering Canyon. They might like the antics at WC, but I have heard they are alittle more toned down for breakfast than other times of the day.

The last time we had breakfast at Kona it was very good.:)

We have breakfast at Kona once on every trip. This upcoming trip, I'll be making ADR's for our last morning in WDW. Although, we go early enough to not really need an ADR, I make one anyway. I have to have Tonga Toast. DH and I order one fruit plate (comes in a pineapple) and one order of Tonga Toast and split them. Yum.

I think it depends on which park you are heading to for the morning.

If your going to the MK - do one of the monorail resort places, Kona, O'hana's the Wave, Grand Floridian Cafe (gets good reviews) or 1900 Park Fare (no princesses at b'fast - its Alice & the Mad Hatter and Pooh & Tigger)

If your going to Epcot - Cape May Cafe (we loved this b'fast - its a nice buffet and not too loud), Captains Grill, or Kouzinna.

If your going to HS - any of the places I listed for Epcot or Hollywood & Vine.

And If your going to AK you could try Boma.

Hope this helps!:)

We aren't planning a park for this day, but will be heading to DTD for dinner that night.
