Where to Go???

Hi everyone!
So I have watched all the videos read all the articles and I have come to the conclusion I still don't know what to do!!!! So here it is we are a party of 6, all adults, 2 parents and 4 adult kids that range from age 34 - 38. We are going to WDW on October 18-24. On the 20th we are hoping to do the Marceline to the Magic Kingdom tour at MK in the morning, spend a little time in MK then go to another park mid-afternoon since the Halloween party is that night and the park will close early. Sadly, going to the hard ticket even is just not in the cards for us so staying in MK is out.

So the question is do we go to HS or AK for the 2nd part of the day?

We have not seen Pandora or Toy Story or Galaxy's Edge. The only ride that my husband asked to make sure we hit at some point during the 3 park days in the parks is Dinosaur, Dad wants to do Rise of the Resistance, and we all love the night time shows. We are food people so a table service meal would not be out of the question for where we go. Any help or advice would be greatly helpful.

This could change by October, but right now you need to be at DHS when the park opens if you want a chance to ride Rise. You definitely wouldn’t be riding if you didn’t get there until the afternoon. So maybe AK would be a better option.

What are you doing the other days? Is that your only park day?

Again as the PP asked - do you have other days to go to the parks? If RoR uses Fastpasses by October if would be better to go to AK on a later day of your trip. So like minimum day 5 or 6 to be able to get the fastpass. Where is Oct 20th would be your 3rd day and that could be hard (not impossible) to get a RoR fastpass. I hope that helps.

What are you doing the other days? Is that your only park day?

we are doing Parks Tue. Wed. Thur., Tue. is the day in question. Wed. night we will be back in MK for Be Our Guest and fireworks (i hope) and Thur night is Dinner in EPCOT.
