Where to go just for dessert?

Dessert is such a wonderful thing.. especially on vacation! But after all that good food, there is rarely room for dessert..

Where would you suggest to go just for dessert? (This way there is time for dinner to settle some. )

Can you just order dessert from most restaurants, or is there a requirement to order a meal? A strange question, but I never thought about it before.

If I were going to go somewhere for just dessert, I would probably choose B&C at the YC/BC, or Ghiradelli's at DTD.

We always do the "dessert only" thing - I think most restaurants have cool desserts, so maybe check www.allears.net for menus, and then pick a place (I think that's the correct website)? We always let the CMs know that we're only doing dessert, and that we won't be long. Sometimes that gets them to squeeze us in somewhere, and the servers don't expect us to order a full meal.

I love the desserts and coffee at the Kona Cafe and often they aren't that busy!

If you are in Epcot, what about the Boulangerie in France? We love to satisfy our sweet tooth attacks there....

The Boardwalk has a great little ice cream shop, which, I believe, is conveniently next to the bakery! DH and I always stop in at least once to get a terrific sundae, and the chocolate cookies at the bakery are to die for!

I think in your situation Kona Cafe would be best. They have great desserts and coffee. It is casual in a relaxed atmosphere.

We had a dessert orgy at Kona Cafe and it was incredible! There were four of us, we ordered four desserts, and Chef Michael sent us a complimentary fifth! All of them were WOW.
