Where to get the Chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches?

I have been to Disney many times and have never had one of those amazing looking chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches -- WHERE do I get one? This is on my list of must haves for my trip in May!!!

Thanks to everyone on the DIS for telling me all about all of the fattening foods I have to try on my next trip -- I can't wait! (must haves so far -- cookie sandwich, Dole Whip, donuts from the Boardwalk, sundaes at Beaches and Cream, popcorn, Mickey bar <and these are just the sanacks! >)

They are everywhere-at all of the ice cream carts throughout the parks as well as in the freezers at the resorts.

ohmygosh....Those are my fav....I always make sure and get at least one when I am visiting the World.

As prev poster wrote, you can find them at all of the little ice cream carts located in the parks...

MMMMmmmmmmmm...We will be there next week, and I can't wait now!!

If you are talking about the real sandwiches, and not the novelty item you get from the cart, try the Main Street bakery, or the snack counter right over the bridge to Liberty Square on the right. In the bakery you can choose any combination of available cookies to make the snack, or at least you used to be able to.

Absolutely! Get one at the Main Street Bakery! They are so much better than the ones from the carts. You will become addicted!!!

That's what I'm talking about -- the ones they make for you. I've had the ones form the cart and they are great, but I want a handmade one!! They sound awesome!

We've had these made for us at POP Century's food court a few times - they are the best with some warm cookies!!!

Thanks to advice from these boards, I had my first a few weeks ago. It was 2 chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream hand-made into the yummiest sandwich from the Main St. Bakery. It was heavenly

We split 2 between 4 of us as they are HUGE!! ENJOY!!!!

OMG! I never knew about the homemade ones! We loved the ones from the cart! Now I want one of these! Peanut Butter and Chocolate sounds SO GOOD! I hope they have that!

Does the bakery still do these??? When I was there they were not ddoing them.

During our trip last year, DD had one made in the All-Star Sports food court. So, I'm pretty sure that if they served it there, then they will probably make one anywhere they serve both cookies and ice cream. (Just an assumption)

There's only one catch about the Main St. bakery (at least IMO). Don't get one of these cookies at the end of the day. Mine was quite crunchy and not soft and warm like everyone else has talked about. Don't get me wrong, it was good, just not what I was expecting.

DW loves the ones at Sleepy Hollow. They also make them fresh at Chip & Dale's Cookie Cabin at the Animal Kingdom.

I knew the Main Street Bakery had them but I didn't know Sleepy Hollow had them. That will go on the to do list for the next trip!
