We will be in Orlando in May 2006 and I just cannot not wait to get started with my planning. We stayed in a two bedroom condo last May and are spoiled. Not sure we could do a hotel for a week again. Problem is I refuse to do the time share tour again but I don't want to pay out the nose for a condo. Where is the best place to book an off-site condo and what are the best prices you have seen?

me - and Mom of three of the Dwarves;) (I love trying to picture what your babies look like, Pamela:) Little feet with big, floppy boots:) ) - I'm not that patient either :teeth:

Try www.tug2.net Check the classsifieds section, that part is free:) LOTS of ads for tomeshare rentals:)

HTH!

We've gone the vrbo.com route before. You'd be renting direct from the owners. However, it can save you quite a bit of money.

Well, the first one (now 12) slept all of the time and still loves to sleep, the second one, shy........then once she gets to know you she will talk your ear off :teeth: , and the third one (boy).......well, I had to hope someone can get a really good job and support me in my old age....... :rotfl: :rotfl:

Back to OP..........I've heard a lot of good about vrbo.com. We're thinking of using that site for our Myrtle beach trip next year.

VRBO

VRBO

VRBO.com

As an owner who lists there, I can tell you that you will get excellent service and can usually get a bettter deal. No management or commission fees, etc.

Hi...all great advice...Skyauction is great but is a 7 day stay and usually Sat to Sat or Sun to Sun..If that works go for Skyauction.

If not we have really enjoyed Villas at Sommerset or Villas at Island Club in the past...3 bedroom 2 bath, nothing fancy but easy access to Disney, a nice warm pool, and with the competition I am betting you can get a nice condo for $65 to $85/night tops.
You can find them on VRBO.com by searching Kissimmee and then looking for Villas at Sommerset or Villas at Island Club. Or you can search either on Google and many will pop up.
No fancy marble or 50 inch TV's but a good place for the price...

All the best...Ted

I would try www.DoOrlando.com, I think they have the best deals anywhere. :earsboy:

That site has Vistana 2 bedroom listed for $804 including tax for Dec/Jan. It's not that it is a bad deal, but I got a week in Nov/Dec for $461 thru Skyauction. That's almost half price.

NOw if SA goes away, I will be looking at sites like this one for some deals. But hopefully I would be able to find it for less than $804. SA has me spoiled. :rotfl:

Yeah, but you don't have to deal with winning or not winning an auction. A lot of people on here try for weeks to win an auction because these boards are saturated with SkyAuction...and they end up disappointed.
